Things I liked about the Hotel was the good location, near the sea and several tourist attractions. I also liked the rooftop bar and spent several evenings there. The breakfast had a indish buffet (but you could get toasted bread or boiled egg or omelette). I missed fresh coffee at the breakfast though. One thing that was a bit odd is that the cleaners didn’t seem to have access to the rooms, so that you had to leave your keycard at the reception if you wanted cleaning. The staff was pretty service oriented and I got good attention from them. All in all I am satisfied with my stay here.

No frills hotel but the bed was comfortable, the AC worked and there was running hot water. The room was plain and small. The sea view room that we booked was not available (despite having called and confirmed a day prior) but they did provide a smaller non view room. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.

Excellent Hotel

The Sea Palace Hotel is in the most amazing location overlooking the harbour and 2 mins walk from the Gateway to India. Lots of shopping and excellent places to eat and drink in the vicinity. Also the hotel had its own roof top bar/restaurant which is lovely in the evenings. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Mumbai. I already recommending this hotel to my friends. Thank you Sea Palace Hotel for a most remarkable stay in Mumbai. It was a nice and quiet place. Staff was helpful and was generous enough to keep my bags for 4 extra hours after checkout. The rooftop restaurant and bar was super awesome. Room was ok except that the AC in my room was not working and was not responding to the remote. Not a big deal as it was not hot. But something the hotel should make sure it works before someone checks in.

Poor service , terrible rooms they need to renewait the rooms . The paints were chip . Every were there were spider webs and bothrooms were horrible in place. All the furniture was out dated and Air conditions was in bad conditions. Rooms were having nasty smell . Breakfast was ok the good part of Breakfast was the serve you fresh omelets on the table of your choice. Overall very very bad experience .

My stay was mixed. In the first half of the stay I had an ‘upgraded’ room on the 4th floor because the tool I was supposed to use was being refurbished. The room was tired and dirty. The bed uncomfortable and worn out. The fridge had a sludge in the bottom that 3 days later still hadn’t been cleaned up. On my return I had a refurbished room. What a difference. Clean, modern, comfortable. When I checked in there was no water in the room. I asked for some bottled water at reception. They offered me some ‘filtered’ water but claimed only the housekeeping staff could issue bottled water. So I went to the store along the street and bought some. Oh and the lift broke down on two occasions.

Fantastic value for money. The hotel is in an excellent location, looking over the sea, and a short stroll from the Gateway to India. The sea facing rooms have a five-star type hotel view. The attached restaurant - Flurys - serves delicious food and is open till midnight (last orders at 11pm)

The hotel is right on the seafront; it is quite rundown, and the room was very basic, but the beds were comfortable. The breakfast included omelettes cooked to order and various Indian dishes. The great location, sea-facing window, and warm, helpful staff made our overall experience very pleasant

Aweful hotel Miserable staff never polite,never smile We asked waiter if we could take our breakfast outside to be told a definite NO !! once we had finished breakfast we sat outside and a good few guests probably Indian were allowed!!they probably dislike us Brits. No warm water for shower,I couldn’t even be bothered addressing this with them. The rooms were small but okay. We would never ever return Next doors outside dining and drinking area is nice though.
