Beware — NOT a hotel | I rarely see only the bad sides of a place, so let me start with the positives: convenient location near a supermarket and vaporetto stop, and a spacious room.
That said, I felt misled by the advertising. The property is called Ca’ Pisani Vista Canal Grande, and the listing features canal views. Our room overlooked a parking garage. The Comfort room we booked did not specify a view, unlike the Quadrupla rooms, which indicate canal or city views. I accept that I assumed too much, but the listing should clearly state which rooms have canal views rather than relying on the property’s name and photos.
The problems continued: no water, despite it being listed on the website; luggage storage initially offered only for an extra fee, despite being listed as a basic service; no TV remote on arrival, and when they eventually brought one, the TV did not work until they came to set it up; room cleaning only two days before we left; no coffee maker, cups, glasses, or iron; and only one key for two guests. The virtual reception was functional, but the open door to our floor made me feel unsafe.
The location and room were positives, but overall this was a very disappointing stay.
