Gorgeous hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely Irish bar (with fab food) downstairs. Plenty of parking, would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat!

Very good first impressions driving in, area was super well kept and clean. Staff upon arrival and departure were very welcoming and friendly. Room was exceptionally clean, with beautiful comfortable carpet under foot. Bed comfortable and bathroom very clean. Breakfast was spot on! Will book again for a stay next year.

10/10 Exceptional

The room was clean, warm, and cozy, with plenty of parking available and friendly, welcoming staff. The only thing I missed was a few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. There was a gig one evening, but we didn’t hear a thing (we were on the second floor), so it was nice and quiet, which we really appreciated. Thank you for a comfortable stay, we’ll likely be back.

8/10 Very good

All the staff we encountered were very welcoming and helpful. We needed support to operate the TV and heater, someone from Reception came immediately on both occasions. The lift was out of order during our stay so our cases were carried to and from our room for us. The room was basic, but to be expected for the price paid. It was spotless and housekeeping asked if we needed anything more?

10/10 Exceptional

I’m so impressed with this hotel! Clean, fresh, and modern with gorgeous prints of the Emerald Isle throughout. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. It looks like a happy team of people which is really nice to see. My room was cosy and met all of my needs. Great shower with water that came quickly up to temperature, a neat little heater to warm the room (very welcome as it was 2 degrees outside!) the location is secure, and the amenities were great. Live music at the weekends and what looked like a fab breakfast but I didn’t have a chance to try this time. Would definitely stay here again.

4/10 Fair

From only being open 2 weeks there was definitely some teething points that needed fixing! The hotel itself looks and feels very new and clean, everywhere was tidy and clean and the staff were super friendly offering help and extras whenever needed. However, our first night sleep in the hotel, we’d come back early hours of the morning after being out in the city, the gates to the hotel were locked & we had no way of getting in as the phone to call reception didn’t work! Luckily we managed to get through the gap in the gate but otherwise we would have been stuck! Secondly, the same night at 3:30am, the fire alarm went off twice! We all left our rooms and no staff knew what was going on or why it went off / if we needed to evacuate! Lastly, the final night we spent in the bar, they had a live Irish band playing which was great! The vibes were very good and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. However this night ended with two security guards being assaulted by a group of guests / bar visitors outside the hotel. From what we could see they were pretty badly hurt and an ambulance was called. Due to this incident we wasn’t able to leave the bar area for a while whilst this got sorted. Before this happened we had ordered food to the hotel which got turned away by the hotel staff due to the incident that had just happened. This was totally expected & the hotel did refund us for the food order which was good! Sadly, the events clouded the actual hotel!
