Our stay at Kavalari was amazing from the start. We were received by an exceptional young man, Zani, friendly and so helpful. All of the staff had the same qualities. The breakfast was more than we expected and the view from our balcony was breathtaking!! The location of the hotel is great. You can walk and shop at the various boutiques in Fira, Imerovigli and Firostefani. The hotel is also a short walk to the bus stop, so easy access to transportation for day trips. If I could give this hotel, and the amazing reception staff, seven stars out of five, I would! The staff were incredibly helpful, very polite and I would stay at this hotel 100% the next time I go to Santorini. The breakfast, which was included, was fantastic and the view cannot be bettered! If you stay at this hotel, enjoy the sunset from the many terraces, and avoid the masses in the main squares.

The staff are friendly and nice. They were very helpful, providing information about city tours and helping to book a place for the boat cruise, which was amazing. Some of the cleaners kept coming into my room unexpectedly while I was relaxing. The rooms get cold; however, for some reason, the hot water didn't work at all, and the water was extremely cold for showering. I struggled with this, especially when the temperatures dropped. Finally, the Wi-Fi is extremely poor, and you cannot even use your mobile data in the room, you had to go outside for signal. Overall, it's a great place to stay in Fira, right in the city center and easy to navigate.
