Excellent location on the lake. This is the second time we've stayed here since we enjoyed it the first time. Very clean and beds were very comfortable. We were traveling with my 90 year old mother who couldn't climb the stairs so we were immediately offered a room on the ground floor. Very accommodating. Would stay there again as we visit Point Peelee and Peelee island often.

The greeting front desk was super helpful in making our stay a beautiful experience. She moved us to a room with a better view of the lake and a fireplace that was working. The location was phenomenal as you had the lake and an expansive boardwalk right there to utilize. Sunsets and sunrise were astounding! The restaurant was super handy on site. We ate there 2 nights as there really isn’t anything else nearby. It was a little pricey but the food was good and the service top notch. Overall I would definitely stay there again!

After spending the previous night at the Elmhirst Inn, we were looking forward to spending the next nights in another heritage Inn.. We were sadly disappointed. Location is the best part of this Inn. Scrape marks all over the walls ,unmatched curtains, hard water, only one chair, lack of toiletries and a lovely view of the street and parking lot were some of the items of concern. In one word, the place is tired.

The location to the beach can’t be beat. Our room was a little tired looking and in need of better light blocking draperies and new linens. The tap for the shower and bath wouldn’t fully turn off and dripped constantly. Not sure why the guests on the ground floor do not have ice, water or coffee available, like on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I suggest staying on one of those floors.

We loved staying in this old and charming Inn. It was our wish to see Point Pelee National Park that brought us to the Leamington area, and we are so glad that we did. This inn is in a great location, close to the water & boardwalks, and a great ice cream chop almost at their front door (by the lake). The reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars is only because I think every hotel room should have a microwave. They did have a microwave for our use, one on each floor, but when you're settled in for the night and want to heat something up, it's just not great to have to leave your room. The only other thing we didn't like is that there was no recycling/blue box for our plastic goods. Again - every room/hotel should offer these so we can all look out for the next generation. Otherwise, our room was very quaint and clean, and the staff were all lovely. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends wishing to travel out Leamington's way.
