A lovely, if brief, stay. I was flying out of Heathrow and chose the Olde Bell, and I'm so glad I did. It's a beautiful hotel with real character. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to look after me. The restaurant was excellent too: dinner was excellent and the full English was among the best I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back.

The staff were amazing and the buildings were historic and authentic. Loved the cottage gardens, outdoor dining and overall vibe. Only negative was the lack of air conditioning on a very hot night on the third floor. We appreciated the presence of a fan, but there was a power outage and since the room only had windows on one side, it was hard to cross ventilate.
