Chippy and his team were incredibly kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough fi’s us. Little touches make the difference. Food was delicious too! Would love to visit again and recommend this little nugget of loveliness to everyone. So close to the Caen Locks which are within walking distance and a must see. Thanks Chippy :)

Refurbished in the sixties to include ensuite baths, this stately home is a salute to the past with spacious rooms, fireplaces, high ceilings and magnificent stained gass windows. Full breakfast and parking. Very welcoming. We'll be back!

Stayed on a Saturday night, owner welcomed us as soon as we parked up. Showed us the room (3) and all the amenities. Room was excellent, photos don't do it justice. Comfy bed and well decorated and maintained. We were going to a party in a neighbouring village and the owner even offered to drop us off to save getting a taxi. Nothing was too much trouble, brought our lunch up to our room and breakfast the next day was really nice too. Would definitely stay here again, an enjoyable experience. Thanks Chippy and staff.

Really enjoyed staying at The George & Dragon, Rowde, Devizes. They were very friendly, couldn't do enough for me. My room was lovely,spacious,clean, well decorated & warm. Very comfy bed too. The food was really good & the owner was very helpful & friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
