This place is great for those that have a car. If you do not have a car I do not recommend going here. I called five independent taxi companies and nobody was available. Only reason my son, our luggage, and I didn't walk the 6.5kms from the train station in 33 C heat was because a friendly local overheard us and offered to drive us. Return to train station also had a hard time finding an available taxi when booking a day in advance. Had to pay extra for one from another town to come drive us. Aside from that, we had a very nice stay. The evening receptionist was especially nice and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Restaurant was closed for lunch or dinner, but the newly renovated River House nearby was nice. The rooms are mostly updated (not fully renovated but for the most part) and very spacious for Europe. Highly recommend the Thermal baths Bad Loipersdorf less than 1km away. It is an amazing thermal bath and outdoor waterpark, but you need to book month in advance. They were booked a month out and I was only able to get an evening ticket when I found it and booked a few days in advance. I would come back - with a rental car.

Hôtel familial sans prétention.

Ma chambre était confortable, sans plus. Standard type pension de famille. La déco de la chambre était ... quelconque. Le reste de l'hôtel est classique. Pour le prix, je me doutais bien que je n'étais pas au Adlon de Berlin où au Biblos de St Tropez. Seul défaut...la piscine... Plus pour les enfants et le barbotage que pour les nageurs.

Schönes Hotel mit guter Lage aber nur für Familien

Das Hotel und das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück, abgesehen von lärmenden und umherlaufenden Kindern ist auch gut. Das Hotel ist für Paare die Ruhe suchen nicht geeignet, da hier zu viele Familien mit vielen Kindern beim Frühstück ganze Extrazimmer in Beschlag nehmen und teilweise sehr laut sind. Auch am Abend sind die Eltern nicht in der Lage, ihre Kinder dazu aufzufordern, nicht in den Gängen schreiend umherzulaufen. Hier sollte auch das Hotel selbst eingreifen und Familien aufklären, wie man sich in Hotels zu verhalten hat!

Übernachtung in der Oststeiermark

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel und die Zimmer sehr sauber und das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen wie zB Radfahren, spazieren gehen, besonders bieten sich die Thermen in der Region an. Einziger Minuspunkt war die Hotelausstattung. Leider sind die Möbel etc. stilmäßig doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
