The room is large as they give me 3 bedded room instead of single , it has basis utensils and stuffs but no shower gel/shampoo etc. However,it’s worth the price in London .

The reception was still open at 1am which was good. The room was basic and very small but it did the job. The shower head fell off and it was basically a hosepipe. location is fairly handy near a main road with bus stops and a McDonald's opposite and a pub downstairs. It's near a noisy Trainline though.. Price was ok.

Ronseal hotel - exactly what it says on the tin. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and suited our needs fine. It's not the Ritz, but suitable if you're only using it for sleep/home basing during a trip.

Rasy to check in and the staff were really helpful Room was clean and what we needed for one night. Shower did take a bit of fiddling wirh to get a good temperature but you could move it to a lower position if youre not as tall and move it to hold in hand Only thing we had an issue with was some of the carpeting was a bit loose on the stairs and made us wwary when going down

Basic room, not much to say. Cheap room and well positioned for Finsbury Park. But no frills. Others complained about noise, but didn't hear anything to complain about.

Strangle little place. Very clean. No breakfast as advertised. Two bowls in a room of three but nothing to go in them.

2/10 Poor

I don't mind staying in budget hotels, but I do expect them to be clean, accurately described and reasonably well maintained. I want to acknowledge the member of staff on duty, who was polite and genuinely tried to help. After I raised my concerns, he moved me to another room, although he first had to replace the door lock before it could be used. Unfortunately, the second room was only marginally better. It still had missing plugs in both the shower and sink, visible grime in the shower that should have been picked up during cleaning, and walls covered in marks and stains. Overall, it felt tired, poorly maintained and in need of redecoration. The original room was considerably worse. The towels had simply been thrown into the wardrobe rather than presented ready for use, the room door was heavily damaged, the bathroom was in poor condition with very low shower pressure, and I found opened toiletries left in the shower together with a wristband from a previous guest, which left me questioning whether the room had been properly cleaned before my arrival. The staff member I dealt with deserves credit for trying to resolve the situation, but the overall condition, cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel fell well below what I expected. I don't believe the listing accurately reflects the standard of accommodation being offered.

For starters the staff was super friendly however, for a family room it was tiny. There was no breakfast, no microwave, and no dvd player as the place advertised. While fine for the price and to just crash for the night if you are using the family room with children this is not the place, there was thumping base until 1AM and there was no sleeping through it. I expected a bit more for a £100 a night large room. Will not be back

Absolutely Horrendous, Nothing Like the Photos I don’t normally leave reviews, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I want to warn others. The hotel advertised “breakfast included” but there was nothing available. Not that I would have eaten it anyway, as the whole place was filthy. Thankfully, there was a McDonald’s across the road. When we arrived, we were shown a printed list of guest names and asked to pick ours out a clear data protection breach. The man at the desk was polite and gave us some information about access after hours, but that’s the only vaguely positive thing I can say. My first room (Room 10) was appalling. There were unidentified stains on the wooden bed base, cigarette burns and damage on the bedside table, and rubbish in the corners. The fridge placed bizarrely inside the wardrobe was dirty and smelly. The window was tiny, stuck high up, with no way to open it, so the room was airless and dark. The bathroom was no better: smears on the mirror, hair in the shower, and no towels provided. The room looked nothing like the pictures online, which show neat rooms with towel art a complete misrepresentation. I asked to move rooms and was given Room 16. It was slightly better but still dirty: stained cups, dusty and broken fittings, and a fridge that stank. The bed linen had marks and hairs in it, the curtain was falling off, and the window sills were covered in grime. The bedside lamp had no bulb, and the walls wer

Clean and quiet room. Could use a lick of paint but other than that it was very nice for the price. Very friendly staff too.

Well it was cheap, and it was clean. But the furniture has seen better days, the shower hose leaked all over the place and it looks like it was painted by a blind person.

I booked last minute, price was good. It said book in for 13.00pm , arrived and the place was locked up, googled the phone number which brings you to some finance answering machine I had a single room with a shower but there is no kettle, cups or any toiletries as advertised. Place is very clean but there are a lot of steps to be mindful of.

2/10 Poor

The hotel was very run down, room was cramped and bathroom was even worse although the actual shower was powerful and warm. There was no continental breakfast, there were two bowls in the room but not even any cereals, even after we requested some, we were directed to Macdonald's over the road by the staff who weren't very helpful and had limited English which didn't help. The only saving grace was that the bedding and towels were clean. No lift and lots of stairs so definitely not accessibility friendly and we had to leave via the fire escape as the hotel didn't open until 11am. It put a real dampener on our weekend and would definitely not recommend it to anyone who is expecting a friendly, welcoming stay.
