If you didn’t look at the picture of the motel before going, you may get confused. There is a sign that says Rodeway Inn at the entrance, so I knew this was the place cause I looked at pics during booking. Room was very clean, bright and bed was very comfortable. Room had a microwave, fridge and they had a case of water for drinking water due to a boil water advisory. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was also only about 20 mins from Watkins Glen State Park which was the reason for our visit.

This hotel has only been open for a month, so everything is absolutely brand new and spotless. I read that the owners of the hotel received their masters degree in hotel management from Cornell University, so obviously they know what they are doing. It was nice to be able to pull up my car right to the room and not have to worry about loading everything onto a cart and taking it up an elevator. There is something to be said for the old-fashioned motel type set up! It was an excellent value for the money and I would most definitely stay there again.

CLEAN AND CLOSE TO AMENITIES

We booked 2 ajoining double rooms for 2 nights. The property is set back from the road in a quiet area. It is not far from amenities like dining, shopping and tourist attractions. We arrived after dark and the lobby was locked; we rang the bell and staff promptly let us in. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly and accommodating.The rooms were clean and appeared to be recently updated. Mattresses were on the firm side, but still comfortable.
