The Hanoi Grandeur Hotel is in a fantastic location in the Old Town. I spent five nights here and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I have to give a shout out to Jenna. Jenna’s manner and customer service was excellent. My room was clean and comfortable.,

Room was pretty good! Very clean, decent amount of room, we didn’t get the room with a view so we had a view of a wall outside the window. The Ac/Heater unit was also temperamental as anytime you switched between heat and AC you would have to restart the machine and it would take forever to heat up. There were free hygiene products in the bathroom as well which was great like toothbrushes and toothpaste. The counter staff didn’t speak very good English. The breakfast was good! We also had to do early check in because our bus arrived really early and it was essentially 2/3 the price of the nightly hotel cost 500,000 V-DONG

Positives: Comfortable bed, clean sheets, robes in the room. Negatives: didn’t reply to my message before check-in, breakfast was pretty horrendous super oily old western food, probably the worst we’ve seen. Curtain to interior window needs to be thicker. Room not particularly clean and not maintained considering it only opened in 2025. Staff pretty robotic but this is normal for any hotel in hanoi

Check in was easy, room was very clean, staff very nice and spoke english well. FYI, if you pay at the hotel, they had a credit card surcharge - not much. Two free bottles of water and great breakfast - asian fare and traditional. Made to order omelets also. Also, bathroom toilet occasionally will “burp” and the toilet seat will get wet. Happened in both of the two rooms we got.
