This is the 2nd Spark Hilton hotel I have stayed in. Most of my stays are for 1 night and then I move on to the next location. For the price you get a modern room with all the basic amenities (desk, plugs in the right places) comfotable bed, clean and workable bathroom.For me these and Carlisle South will be a Go To hotel. I am impressed

We stayed for an October weekend. The check-in was easy, the staff were nice, the room was large, and the bed was comfortable. That being said, if you are like us and chose this for the convenience and price, I want to remind you that you get what you pay for. There was no soap in the shower and it was clear there hadn't been for a while because there was a stack of little hand soaps piled up. It was clear people had been unwrapping the hand soap to shower with and no one has noticed. The hotel is located right off the highway and the highway noise is really loud. If you are a light sleeper this will be a problem. It was clear the hotel is aware of this because there was one pair of ear plugs on the night stand. When we went to the front desk to ask for another they couldn't locate another pair. The continental breakfast, did not have cups for any of the juice, and no fruit. I think there may have been hard boiled eggs at one point but at 8 am when we were there they were gone, and no one was checking stock to replace items. It was convenient, but if you are traveling with anyone who needs protein or was dreaming of a make your own waffle, that was not a part of this setup.

The staff were all professional, polite, and friendly... just what one hopes for in the service industry. I cannot give the hotel a 5 star rating purely because it is a middle tier hotel without the level of expensive quality and services provided at higher end hotels. Having said that, it is precisely what I needed (economical, comfortable, and meeting all of the basics) in the middle of a long and exhausting motorcycle trip.

We had a very good stay for the price at this Spark. Staff were excellent and everything was very clean. Breakfast was a typical "on-the-go", nothing special there. Coffee and tea are in the lobby 24/7, but the coffee was weak and not great, unfortunately. Parking was easy and close. My one big complaint was that I grabbed a breakfast sandwich from the "pantry" area that was marked at $3, but when my checkout receipt came in my email, they charged me $4 for it. I'm not going to press the issue since it's only a dollar, but do watch your receipts! Would otherwise very much recommend this hotel.

Staff was courteous. Room was clean. Heater unit sounded like a jet engine when it was running. TV wouldn’t turn on, didn’t bother to call the front desk about that. Room was on side of I81 and could hear traffic all night long.

The staff member at check-in was polite and helpful. He assisted when I had issues with the television, offering to change my room, and providing snacks at no cost to cover my inconvenience. The morning staff was not as helpful. When the new tv had similar issues, this staff was rude and stormed out of my room when I attempted to explain I'd just dealt with similar issues the night before. Along with this, the property itself was very dirty, trash covering the grounds outside the hotel. Not the level of customer service one would expect from a Hilton affiliated hotel.

The unit had been updated, and the bathroom was very nice. The electric outlets didn't work (glad I brought an extension cord!). New paint on the bathroom door was chipping. The room was clean and the bed was nice. Staff were pleasant. My departure was delayed because the PA state room tax had to be paid separately.

I would not return to this property. The hallway carpet is very dirty, the lighting is dark and there is a smell. The front desk staff are all kind and helpful. The room was clean however housekeeping never came to clean our room and we stayed for 4 days. The AC in the room did not consistently work. The first day the front desk had to reset it and shortly after it turned off again and we spent an entire night hot and sweaty. The next day maintenance came and adjusted something on the unit, and we learned the AC had to be set to 61 in order to consistently work. So the options were either freeze or burn up. We chose to freeze, but we shouldn’t have had to. I left my information at the front desk everyday for the GM to contact me about the issues we experienced and he never reached out. A few days after we left I called back again and they were able to finally get me in contact with the GM who was very understanding and apologetic and did refund us a portion for the inconveniences. Breakfast was continental and convenient. Its just enough to put something on your stomach to start your day. Overall the stay was just ok and I would not return.

It was just what we needed for our short stay, a clean place to sleep and shower. The staff was friendly and the little eating area was cute. The free breakfast was great with hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal for some healthier options as well as muffins, bagels, and cereal. I only noticed the noise from the highway the few minutes before waking up at my usual time.

Located in Carlisle off I-81. Good and bad. Easy to find. Restaurants near by. Extreme traffic noise 24/7. Big trucks racing by all night. Since the exit is right there, trucks use their loud engine brakes to slow down. The hotel advertises breakfast, but a bird couldn't survive on what they offer. The coffee was good though.
