The property was hard to find in the night as the sign was quite small and our taxi driver did not know the place. However once we got there it was wonderful and had a lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Our room was also beautiful with a fantastic view. The breakfast was awesome and has spoiled us for the rest of our trip around China. Nowhere else has come close to it

Great location, spacious and clean room. However, the lighting in the hallways and in the room is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. It’s way TOO DARK. The cosy atmosphere they were seeking was completely missed. I couldn’t shave properly because all you see in the mirror is shadows. As a regular visitor to Guangzhou for decades, there are many other better options in this high price range. Staff was helpful but communication was very difficult because hardly anyone spoke English. For a 5 star hotel that caters to foreigners, it’s unacceptable.
