We have stayed in a few locations in Valdez, the Totem was hands down the best! We will absolutely be staying here during our weekend visits! The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was the best food in town! Bonus, they also have an indoor pool! Can’t wait to stay here again!☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Totem Hotel. Bed was super comfortable, water pressure was phenomenal and got very hot. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were so helpful in accommodating our dog. We like to sleep with the window open so having a screen was a big plus.

Great stay! Everything was great except the pull out sleeper sofa in the suites. Staff nicely made it up for our arrival, but the mattress was terrible. Fortunately, it was just two nights and we were tired.

The heater kept us up all night. We asked the front desk for help and they told us to try to take the key out to turn off the power but that didn’t work. It woke us up at 7 am. But it was clean and good food and nice gym. Thank you.

Had a great stay—suite was clean, kitchen included the basics for cooking and eating, in-room laundry was so convenient and a significant cost savings having looked into local laundromats (traveling with a baby so sometimes need to do laundry unexpectedly!). Breakfast buffet was truly amazing! Hope to stay here again when we return to Valdez!
