Perfect short stay inn in Stafford.

Lovely friendly hosts and a pub hotel that does what it says on tin. Decent sized rooms for a short to medium stay. No aircon, but that wouldn’t be a problem mostly. The windows open properly so you can get a breeze if it’s hot out. Good food in the pub and a well priced, tasty breakfast.

One night stay, room was far too hot this made it very difficult to sleep. Floor boards squeaked both mine and rooms above. Could hear people in other rooms. Stains on towels and carpets. Mould in the bathroom and a sticky floor. Staff were nice , food was good but the room was a real let down, paid over £100 absolutely not worth it
