This room is not well maintained. There is damage throughout including ripped fabric on the wall above the cabinets. One of the cabinet doors that is used for the owner and is locked was sticking out from the wall and is not closed correctly or is broken. The jets in the tub do not work and would randomly turn on when not in use. It is advertised as a fully stocked kitchen however there are no kitchen items in the room but you can call housekeeping if you need them. Even though this room is on a very high floor it faces northwest and experiences very loud trains through the night as well as constant road noise. It makes it very difficult to relax and sleep. I reached out multiple times prior to and during the stay. They kept sending AI messages about extending our stay but couldn’t even once respond to my inquiries. They did send messages to pay $65 insurance upfront (prior to check) to cover damage and avoid the front desk check-in deposit of $200. This is inaccurate and a scam. Don’t fall for this add-on. Trump front desk collects mandatory deposit from everyone which is reasonable and there are no exceptions. The extra insurance is unnecessary. We will never reserve this unit again but would stay at another Trump hotel room.
