We booked full board here for five nights and it did not disappoint. In fact it exceeded expectations in all areas. The price was really good, so we set expectations based on their probably being a compromise in some area but everything was absolutely top notch.
We received a friendly welcome on arrival and went up to our sea view room, which was outstanding - the best sea view we’ve seen, with the big full height window making the most of it. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning. Then we went down for our evening meal and found a good choice of cold and hot food, all really good quality. It stayed that way each meal time.
The location in Calella is great. It’s around a 20 minute walk from the train station but, being near the end of the main beach, you have the choice of that one or the smaller coves immediately to the south.
Staff in each part of the hotel are friendly and helpful. Our last nice surprise when checking out was to find that luggage storage is not only available and secure but also includes clean, spacious showers in separate men’s and women’s areas, with plug sockets for last minute phone charging!
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back, hopefully sooner than later.
