The hotel is in a very good location, there are cafes and shops around everywhere. The staff were always helpful and the included breakfast was very good. The room also had useful details like wet wipes. recommend!!

Beautiful spot, gorgeous room, great views back on the city. Staff was helpful with the bags, with getting the World Cup on our TV, and even with laundry! One area for improvement: the hotel does not have a partner yet for city tours, nor could they recommend.

The staff were so kind and friendly and went out of their way to accomodate us. We arrived so late about 1am and they were waiting in the rain to help us with our luggage. The check in/check out procedure was very quick. The room we stayed in was the romantic double room with balcony overlooking the old town and city and river. It was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and à la carte selections which I prefer. The staff did laundry for us. We recommend the noodle restaurant Michelin star just downstairs and to the left of hotel. We would definitely stay again!!!!

我由衷感謝每位員工在我入住期間給予的幫助。當時我因為要趕飛機，卻一直叫不到車，不過在我向前台說明情況後，管家立刻幫我預訂了前往機場的車輛，對此我真的非常感激。 入住期間，無論我提出任何問題，員工們都能做到有問必答，這對我幫助很大。很慶幸能入住逢棠，這讓我對重慶的好感度又提升了不少。房間住起來十分舒適，早餐也很不錯，實在是一個很棒的地方。周圍交通也相當便利，民宿就位於下浩里裡面，不僅好玩，也好逛。

Absolutely loved my stay: great location inside Xiahaoli. Fun to explore, convenient to Jiefangbei and the riverside, plus a clean, modern, very comfortable room. The staff were outstanding: they contacted me before arrival, answered every question promptly, and when I struggled to get a ride for an early flight, the front desk and house manager immediately booked an airport car for me. Breakfast was solid, service felt genuinely personal, and the experience made me appreciate Chongqing even more. I’d gladly stay here again.

This was a very fun place to stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Wonderful breakfast brought to our room daily. Hip, energetic location with access to shops and restaurants. Room was quite dark but part of the historic charm I guess. The difficult part for me was dealing with all the uneven surfaces and stairs in this maze of a complex. This is not for anyone who has any physical limitations or who doesn’t want to have a hike to get to the property entrance. Staff members carried all our luggage so that was good. If you are young and energetic then this is the place for you! I’m 66 and in very good physical condition but I found this to be a bit too much.

I wasn’t expecting much but this hotel really surprised me. The location is amazing—you can walk to Jiefangbei and enjoy the riverside at night. The room was clean and modern, with a really comfy mattress. What impressed me most was the service: staff contacted me in advance, prepared cold tea when I arrived, and even did turndown service at night. It felt very personal. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful place on the south side of the bridge in a very pretty old part of the city. Traditional style low level buildings with tiled roofs spill down a hillside from the main road. Lots of steep stone steps but a welcome escape from downtown Chongqing. Our room had a huge comfortable bed, good pillows, great linens. Fantastic rain shower and a luxurious bath tub in the bathroom. The room we chose had a view over the old buildings (now modern restaurants/tea houses/bars/shops). It’s a hugely popular area with tourists mainly young and fashionable…but everything closes at 10pm so no noise. You can walk across the bridge in 30 minutes to Raffles City. Only 15 minute walk from the cable car (ride over the river at night to get the lights). Just use the Didi ride hailing service in Chongqing…it’s an 8 level city built into hillsides with a staggering amount of steps and steep inclines! Fun place and don’t miss the lights at night.

The location is excellent — right near the Liberation Monument and Nanbin Road, which made it very convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city. The hotel itself has a unique design and a very cozy atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the modern décor and the little details that made the space feel welcoming. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide local recommendations. My stay was incredibly satisfying. Even before I arrived in Chongqing, I had my itinerary planned, and the reason I chose this homestay was because I was truly captivated by its style. I felt it was a place with a lot of cultural character. When I checked in, I was given a map of nearby tourist attractions, which saved me a lot of hassle. When I returned to my room, the air conditioning had already been turned on, which felt amazing. I slept soundly all night in the bed. The next day, breakfast was delivered right to my room—it was absolutely fantastic. This experience left a wonderful impression on my trip to Chongqing. Thank you to every staff member at Futon!
