The accommodation itself is large and very clean.. Prospective visitors MUST be aware - the only entrance to the accommodation is below street level and access to the entrance is only possible via a number of steep stone steps. Although the advert for the property details it doesn't have a lift it doesn't detail the method of accessibility. As I have Cerebral Palsy this posed a problem for. Me. To get to the city / main attractions there is a tram stop (T1), about 5 minutes walk from the accommodation . three stops and you are in the city, at a cost of only €1. To take taxi from the accommodation to, for example the Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore is €22 , so taxi fares, if needed will add greatly to the cost of your holiday if you stay here.

The property is very nice but the check in was not good. No instruction whatsoever and the door required the code to get in. I had to contact Expedia to get the info to get in. We had to stand outside in the rain 30-60 minutes.
