6/10 Good

The positive reviews tempted me away from the other chain hotels closer to the freeway. But I was not prepared for the run-down exterior condition of this motel. Actually, the room was fine... and, as others have commented... it was very clean (if spartan). Not to judge other people... but the guests were a bit scary looking and we were fearful of our safety. There was a guy next door who slept all night in his car. But the VERY bright lights all around the property at night surely kept anything bad from happening. I was expecting a cute, retro motel and what I got was a just run-down and dated. Spend the extra $20 bucks and feel better about your stay and safety.

Easy check in at this family run motel. The room was clean. The queen beds were a nice firmness. There was plenty of hot water and pressure. It felt very safe. Really all you need for a simple stay, at a reasonable price.
