Staff were great. Restaurant had decent food including free breakfast. Location is excellent for Chinese market and water ferry, just a 1 minute walk. Other sites- 40 minute walk to synagogue and next to it is the Dutch palace. 25 minute walk for popular handwashing laundry- Dhobi Khana. Top bunk in the dorm room was a little too high for me, but slept well. Restaurant did not sell alcohol which is a shame, the hostel has a nice chilled vibe.
