Grand for a basic stop,
The hotel kind of stinks of stale water /sewage
Staff where lovely but very stretched among roles
The breakfast waitress was also the receptionist and was then later seen cleaning bedrooms
Very hard working staff
But the lack of staff does mean a lot of delays
Room was both too hot and too cold, bedroom carpet was so dirty I didn’t want my feet touching it. Bathroom floor sticky and all surfaces grimy
Breakfast was a mix of continental and full English made to order
The continental was adequate but the full English made to order was terrible
Waited 40 minutes for a plate of scrambled eggs and when it arrived they where both over done and cold (not edible)
Once again think this was due to lack of staff
Would stay again but only if I really had to
