They say Florida is flat. I guess I chose the one place that disproves that notion. Founded October 3, 1887 in Tallahassee Fl. on the former Highwood plantation, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) sits atop some of the highest hills in the state of Florida and overlook the capital city through a mix of towering palms and majestic, Spanish moss laden, Live Oak trees. More pictures to come

"So glad I decided to stay here. The hotel has nice large clean modern rooms with fridge and microwave, there is a washing machine so we could get all our washing done. Also has a good size gym and pool area. We were just passing by in Tallahassee so not sure what else was near by the location for food and shops but we did get in late and were still able to order 2 really large delicious pizzas for dinner. We also found lots of free parking just outside the hotel. A special thank you to the most amazing staff at this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. If you are going to Tallahassee this is definitely the place to stay"
