One of the best places we stayed in France. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We got in late (around 9:00 p.m.) and asked if we could eat at the restaurant. Although it was at the end of the evening, they allowed us to have dinner there and it was a spectacular meal. The room was clean and comfortable. So much so that we decided to extend to another day and have the hotel as home base. The next evening was even more pleasant. Highly Highly recommend this place.

This place is quite charming and historic and the location on the town square couldn’t be better. Nice spot for a quiet rest in a comfortable room. We did not try the restaurant. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was very comfortable but stairs were quite steep. Restaurant was brilliant, 3 fixed price menus and full a la carte. Great choice of wines from 25 ish euros to over 2000 if you want to push the boat out. Would definitely go again when in the area

This was my 3td visit to St Martin. A wonderful family run hotel with so much history inside and out. The meals are absolutely delicious and the location is perfect for access to the DDay beaches, Caen, Bayeux and so much more. Highly recommend!

Friendly hotel in a good location with superb food

We all enjoyed our two night stay here from the welcome and especially the dining experience. Lots of choice on the various set menus. The house red wine is an excellent choice, blended for the hotel and sporting their own label. Good parking for out motorcycles under cover. Set in a pleasant village with a nice sports bar across the road and a Chateau nearby. Very close to the new D-Day memorial.

Food fantastic. Very surprised to go down to dinner and get Michelin quality food at normal prices. I grew up hearing about fantastic food in roadside French cafes and Bistros. Never found one until now in my mid fities. And this is it. The hotel is a bit quirky and off the beaten track but well worth the money,.the food is the real gem and worth going out of your way for great French food here.

L’emplacement est parfait et le personnel très aimable. Par contre, nous avons été très deçus par la proprété et l’enretien des lieux (surtout car nous avons pris en compte les commentaires avant de faire la réservation). Notre chambre avait vraiment beaucoup de poussière sous les lits et coins de la chambre. Dans la salle de bain il n’y avait pas de sèche serviette et les radiateurs n’étaient pas allumés, poir cette raison nous avons mis les serviettes par terre afin qu’elles soient changées. A notre retour, le service de chambre avait tout simplement plié les serviettes trempées et remis sur l’étagère... J’ai dû descendre à l’accueil pour demander des serviettes propres et sèches. Autre point important: il s’agit d’une ancienne batisse donc avec des enfants en bas age qui jouent, cela peut etre contraignant (bruit transmis)

Wij vonden het een heel leuk en charmant hotel met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Kamers waren schoon en netjes. Sanitair had, denken wij, net een renovatie gehad, dus ook heel netjes. Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding was prima. Wij zouden hier zeker terug komen.
