We only stayed one night but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Mattress was a bit springy but comfortable and slept well. Would definitely stay again.

It was closed, but they allowed me to stay the night. However, so far the hotel has charged me 3 times for the room, and I can't get them to respond back to me about the situation.

Wonderful little place to stay :) Spoke to Corey through their messaging site as we got delayed by traffic. He was really friendly and helpful and assured us he would happily stay on site so we were able to check in. He even brought some water and some little treats up to the room for our dog. The room was lovely. Very clean, spacious and homely. It had everything we needed and more. Felt very safe staying there thanks to the secure entrance. The surrounding location and local town/village seemed lovely too. Despite it being on a main road it was very quiet and we slept really well. Would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Very much dog friendly and plenty of space in the room to accommodate your dog :) Also, it does say that there is no parking but there is a carpark on site with plenty of spaces (and it is free).

This property was booked with the intention of spending my money locally, but what materialised will make me think again in future! There was no indication or mention that the pub, to which the accommodation was part of, would/is closed Mondays & Tuesdays, whilst only open a couple of hours on the Sunday I arrived with no food being served. I checked Hotels.com and nothing was stated or in any correspondence from the property. I eventually got in my room after a debacle with the external pin pad and a mixup of all the room keys. The single member of staff tried her best but seemed she hadn’t spent much time at this location before. The room had no information regarding contact numbers for emergencies, muster points for evacuating the property or any passwords for the WiFi. Nothing about local amenities, especially with them being closed! I went to use the shower and was greeted with a shower head full of mould, and looking like it hadn’t been used never mind cleaned in a while!! The walls and seals were mouldy also and that caused me to check the rest of the room. Skirting boards not been touched, dead flies all over the floor…… if I hadn’t have had other priorities to deal with, I’d have searched for somewhere else and requested a refund. The property could be a nice stay, but obviously hasn’t got the interests of its customers at heart! I booked this property to try and put money in the pockets of a local business but will certainly think twice before doing that again!

The Mayflower is a lovely pub The staff where very friendly & helpful. Few issues, the plug was missing for the sink in the en-suite. The plug hole itself wasn't clean, needs a serious clean There's no shelf in the shower to put anything on. For the tea /coffee facilities there was no spoon. The single standing lamp, the blub was missing. But other than that, nice spacious room, comfy bed.
