The guy at the reception was friendly and very helpful in providing information on restaurants and nearby attractions. We were on our way back to Texas and it is a perfect no frill pit stop. The building itself is old but the room is very clean. The motel is located near the train track so if you are a light sleeper this place might not be for you. Great mountain views right outside! The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. This newly renovated gem on Route 66 made us feel instantly at home. Everything from the bed and TV to the appliances and linens seemed brand new. We had such a restful stay, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable getaway.
