Great hospitality and great family experience without the hassle of setting up our own tent! We loved the s’mores fire pit, having our own fire by our yurt and the yummy made-to-order breakfast—all provided by our host! Perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay to explore the area.

If you're looking for a different kind of lodging, this is it. Not what we normally do, but it was nice. A bit like camping, a bit like a nice hotel. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. The only thing to complain about is the 200 foot walk, outside, to a bathroom at 3am.

I stayed at Colorado Basecamps for 1 week while attending a WFR course. Although I could have chosen to camp, I wanted a nice comfortable bed, electricity, and protection from the elements so I could study in the evenings. My stay was fabulous! The beds and giant fluffy pillows were very comfortable. Every morning I was treated to a homemade breakfast burrito to take with me to my class. Evening s'mores were just what I needed after a long day. Leslie and Tyler were the best hosts. They have created a fun "glampground". I am excited to see what new treats they have in store for the future. Looking forward to coming to play in the nearby mountains next summer! Thanks for providing a wonderful experience!

Checking in was a bit confusing but got it figured out. The lights in the bathroom when a person was in a stall turned off shortly after entering, so ended up doing the paperwork in the dark. Was concerned about the yurt cooling off at night but that was not an issue. Wish there was a better maintained path down to the river. Definitely would stay again.

This place is NOT AS ADVERTISED. The pictures on their website are AI. The yurts are not the same as in the pictures, there was a dirty outhouse with no latch to lock the door. The "river view" was 40 feet below the accommodations. We left and didn't even bother to stay there. If this had been a $50-$100 room, ok, but this was $419. For fake pictures of a place that was a dump. Do not stay here.
