I stayed at APA Hotel for 9 days, and I had a great experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. I was very satisfied with their service.

I love staying at APA properties when in Japan; they're typically within a short walk to the station, staff is friendly & the public baths are clean and we'll maintained. This location is no exception. Pro tip: drop your luggage off at the hotel in advance of check-in, it's free & secure (and will leave you unburdened to explore the area, grab a meal or simply relax).

I had accidentally booked a smoking room, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful and switched me right over to a non-smoking room, no questions asked. Can’t speak highly enough about APA’s customer service.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Area is very active at night and has a lot of red light activity. Not dangerous but might not be very family friendly 😂

I erroneously booked smoking rooms and staff were accommodating by switching us to non-smoking rooms after we checked in, although they were full at the time.

Great hotel, but a little far from the station.
This hotel has all the amenities of an APA hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. You're able to pay to send your suitcase to the next hotel right from the check-in desk. They were running a cute origami event for Children's Day and left a paper crane in our room that my kids were delighted with. The area around the hotel has a lot of food and shopping. It's really lively at night but the rooms are quiet. The onsen is a really nice perk and has really extended hours. Be aware that the laundry machines are inside the gendered onsen so you can't have your partner switch the laundry. Also, the hotel is not very close to the nearest station, Sakae. It's about a 10-15 minute walk and if you need to use an elevator it's closer to 30-40 minutes because the station is crazy long, but only has elevators to the street level at either end of the blocks long station. One of the two elevators is also inside a building with early closing hours and thus inaccessible after 8 or 9pm.
