We picked San Bada because it's literally next to the park entrance. It was so nice after a long sweaty hike to get back to the room, eat lunch and use the pool. I didn't realize how amazing the hotel would be. Extremely friendly staff, incredible breakfast, and epic views from our balcony and rooftop. We heard howler monkeys, and saw toucans and scarlet macaws while sipping great coffee each morning. I would definitely return.

We had a lovely experience at this hotel from the moment we checked in until we left. Staff was friendly and so helpful in giving us tips for where to go and how to best see some of the animals. On property we saw monkeys, iguanas, agoutis, geckos, raccoons, scarlet macaws, and we just missed a sloth at breakfast one morning. The view from the top floor is beautiful and we spent a rainy morning playing cards up there and enjoying the view. The staff at the spa was great and my nails are still looking great a week later! Breakfast (included) was delicious and the sushi was also very good (and very large portions!). Overall we’d definitely return!

Isai and the entire staff are friendly and courteous and it is an amazing place above expectations. Be aware of the scammers at the entrance to the park who trip to look like they work there but are just trying to scam you out of your money. give this place a 10 out of 10 no doubt
