Overall our stay was very good. Great value for money and the staff were amazing...... The bathroom was clean and offered a range of products. But we felt it was dated and tired and the hotel deserved better........We would definitely consider returning, the staff were great ambassadors for WALES.

Very nice stay at this historic inn. Clean, comfortable rooms with amazing staff. Lunch and drinks at the lounge were very good. It’s a building built near the late 1600’s (as I was told) but has been well maintained and it’s in a great area of town. We’d recommend to anyone.

Huge room - well and comfortably furnished Bathroom well equipped as was the tea/coffee facilities . Pleasant bar and breakfast (Continental only provided) was pretty good - although would benefit from more ambitions bread options rather than just sliced! Overall excellent and would recommend.

I've stayed at the Castle Hotel several times and it's always a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are comfortable and well-stocked, and the location is very convenient for the train station, the town centre and Neath Castle. Lovely hotel, great for a weekend stay

A really lovely old-fashioned hotel, conveniently located for the town centre and railway station. I was impressed by the size of the room and bathroom, and the fact that the bed was a four-poster, especially given how reasonably priced the room was. Breakfast was very good and all the staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were great at the Castle. Breakfast good too. Bed comfy. Didn’t like the shower over the bath would have preferred a separate shower. Nice and central in the town.
