Hotel Piran was an ideal location for, set along the coast, it is an ideal place to stay while in Piran. Staff was friendly and so helpful reaching out to a rental car company to clear something up for me. Breakfast buffet was good and seating outside was so pleasant. The only problem was which side your room is located…seaside quiet at night, street side made going to sleep difficult due to outside noise from traffic and city music…till 11:00at night!

Hotel Piran was no frills but the location and the staff were great! It is right on the water and the sunset from this location is fantastic. Parking is a distance but the friendliest, most fun man drives you back and forth. The walls are thin so it can be a little noisy. Breakfast was just ok.

Breakfast was very nice. Location can’t be beat! We got an amazing suite with a huge balcony. Just wish we had been able to stay for more than one night. The staff was wonderful and got us paddle boards to use. The young man at the desk helped carry them out to the water where we enjoyed paddling around the sea, looking at all the Jellyfish.

The entire Piran experience is spectacular. The Hotel Piran is extraordinary. Breakfast, Room and staff are all amazing. Front desk staff is so helpful, engaging and knowledgeable. Besides they are all younger people. Very respectful. They coordinate parking as well. Swimming right in front of the hotel. Well worth it. Can’t say enough good things about how cheery everyone is. Sincere too.

The views of the Adriatic from our balcony were breathtaking. It was a lovely location. The hotel made parking and access to the hotel a breeze. They came and picked us up from the parking garage as the city center is car-free. We will definitely stay there longer the next time.

Very well positioned hotel on the quayside in the old town of Piran. A little noisy from the number of bathers underneath our balcony, which went on into the evening. The first room we were offered was tiny and smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and to be honest we would have moved hotels, but in fairness when we complained, we were moved to a different room which was perfectly adequate and met our booking expectations of sea view and balcony. The hotel itself was a little tired, but was okay for a short stay.

A special thank you to Ermin at the front desk, who helped us upgrade to a balcony room (worth the extra cost for the breathtaking sunset views!), and to Aida as well for her warm and helpful service. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!

Beautiful hotel by the sea. We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the location of the hotel and the very helpful staff. I especially appreciated: - The beautiful surroundings and the location (close to everything you want to see or do in Piran). - Free beach towels. - Less than 5 meters to go for a swim in the sea. - Roof top bar. - Comfortable bed. - Free shuttle service to and from the garage outside of Piran (you aren't allowed to park in Piran if you don't live there). I would however advise everyone to bring earplugs: it's an amazing but old building, and both the doors and the walls are very thin. The first night I woke up every time someone used the elevator or talked in the hallway. The breakfast was good, but I missed pancakes, and would have liked more vegetarian/vegan options. Apart from this, everything was perfect! I would definitely stay here again, and then I would make sure to upgrade to a room with sea view. (City view was OK but sea view would have been much better.)

Fantastic view, perfect for watching the sunset from your own balcony! If you have a car, you can get a discount for the parking at the Garage Fornače. Breakfast buffet is also really good. Only down side is that they do not provide an electric kettle or tea/coffee in the room. I did bring my own for the trip, but since we were only staying one night and had to park the car far away (20 minutes walk), I had forgotten to pack it into my overnight bag, so it was left behind in the big suitcase. There is at least a free hotel shuttle service from the hotel to the parking garage so you don't have to pay for the public one.

Location was great, right in the middle of old town. Room was clean! The only thing is that shower was not well maintained but besides that everything was great! Ps. Bring your own hair dryer if you need one because the one in the bathroom turns off every minute to “save energy” and you have to wait a couple of minutes to use it again so it’s annoying.
