The Bajamar is an excellent hotel, positioned in quiet place within an easy walk to the centre. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My only slight criticism is that the attached cafe and bar closes at 3pm in late September until the end of the session. So you aren't able to take a drink up to your room as you prepare to go out in the evening. Other options are nearby but it would nice to go downstairs and take a coffee or beer back to your room. This hotel is very conveniently located to enable you to explore all that Nerja has to offer without breaking the bank. It is very clean & welcoming and all staff from reception to housekeeping where pleasant and helpful. You can walk to Burriana & Carabeo beaches (very different vibes but equally enjoyable), there is a wonderful bakery literally 2 minutes walk away, a lovely cafe 3 minutes walk with seating outside on a pedestrian area (la martina) where we had yoghurt, fruit & granola. Plenty of restaurants alongside playa de Tesorilla and you can stroll through the narrow walkways to the Balcon at your own pace. We had a cool dip in the pool on the rooftop too and helpfully the hotel provided towels for the pool/sun loungers.

I stayed for 3 nights with my daughter. We had a wonderful stay. Roof top pool was lovely although would have benefited from some umbrellas for shade. Staff were lovely. Room basic but clean, mattresses were comfortable. Fridge would have been great to keep our water cool. Balcony was a great bonus. Cafe would have been better if open longer hours but plenty of shops around so not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again. 😍

It was all OK and good value for money. Room had faults with balcony door not locking and shower broke which was reported to hotel staff. Also a little noisy but would consider again as location great, friendly staff and quality cafe attached.
