10/10 Exceptional

We had a lovely stay over several days. Breakfast was meh. The place is not fancy. But the location is great--a quiet spot on the water. The room was spacious, and the balcony was such a nice amenity. The hotel is in a rural, residential area, so bring food before heading out. There is a seafood restaurant next door, but it is closed certain days of the week. It is a bit of a drive to other restaurants or grocery stores. But that was part of the appeal. We loved being in a quiet spot to just enjoy the water. Our last day, we got up early and watched the sunrise. We are looking forward to returning!

Being able to watch the sun rise and sun set within the same property. Sit out front for the former or back for the latter! Wonderful for listening to lapping waves. Great testaurant just geet away.

Birthday Getaway

The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The TV was small and the breakfast quite light. The view was great and it was peaceful and quiet there.

This Property was dated and worn reminding me more of an older fishing camp. But the views are second to none and the cost for the view was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again for the views alone . Breakfast bar was limited which is fine and over all a great day getaway spot.

The view from here is beautiful. The restaurant next door was convenient and delicious. The room had a little cleanliness issue.

Piney Point Jewel

We love this place and have stayed here many times. There is a superb seafood restaurant next door called The Ruddy Duck. Fresh oysters from the Bay coming literally from the water in front of the restaurant. Both of these establishments are highyly recommended. The best part? The is water on both sides of this location as it is a narrow strip of land. Water all around.

The rooms where actually better than expected. I like that it kinda like a studio apartment. And the water view from the balcony was nice. Will def go back when the weather is warmer
Taariq, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel has the advantage of being the only hotel between Lexington Park and Piney Point. The entire hotel needs to be updated and cleaned. There are tons of spider webs and dirt on the balconies. The bathrooms are not very clean and there was a ton of unrecognizable gunk behind the bathroom faucet. The front desk staff is very nice and it's next to the Ruddy Duck restaurant and bar which is a great spot.
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The rooms were very large and views of the water were breathtaking. The hotel definitely could use a little extra TLC. A few things were broken in our room but nothing that would deter me from coming back. Those views were worth the inconveniences.
Diane, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

The young lady that checked us in was very nice, but the property was just very old and in need of repairs. I could have sworn I booked a suite thru Expedia with 2 bedrooms but the confirmation just says “suite” so it was unclear and we went with the room they gave us, 2 queens and a fold out couch. The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall, the key card detector on door was duct taped, there was a hole in the wall that was filled with putty but not painted and the toilet ran loudly all night. The couch cushions had stains all over it. Beautiful view, the hotel just needs some repairs.

Beautiful view. Next door to a great restaurant and close to a lovely small quaint town that is explorable. My only complaint is that in the room a lot of the lighting is fluorescent so it’s not a very appealing environment to sleep in. Also, two of the lights on the bedside tables did not turn on so we were forced to use the overhead light, which was equivalent to a spotlight. If they would update the lighting with soft warm lightbulbs, it would make a huge difference.
Hilary, 1-night trip

Potential to be much better

In a lovely setting, though somewhat isolated (except for a great unrelated restaurant next door). Our room had not been thoroughly cleaned, and there was no table and chair to use for eating or writing. The beds were OK. The breakfast offerings were minimal. The staff was friendly, but clearly harried; it appears that inadequate staffing is part of the problem here. We're glad to have seen the area, but would not consider staying here again.
