Enjoyable stay at this venue.the Room was delightfully decorated spacious and well equipped,there was a Tassimo Coffee machine, better than the usual instant sashes that you normally get. The Breakfast was a bit disappointing average and pricy but ok. Outside the River Avons Mill race ememinates out from underneath the building the town walk way leads a comfortable route to the Rail Station or Town centre,with views toward the Cathedral.

Stunning property and location. Restaurant had a good variety of food options but now vast. Bed was comfortable and facilities in room were good. The only thing I took a star off for was the heat at the top of the property where are room was. They provided a fan and we had the only unpainted shut window open. Also if like me you have arthritis the stairs were fairly steep.

Manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. TV played up and seemed that only 2 channels working adequately. Staff assisted but the problem persisted. Room was good and bed very comfortable. There was no fridge for keeping water cool which would have been helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Lovely location and very pretty surroundings.

The staff were very nice and as helpful as could be. But there were some niggles, the coffee machine was set in a dark corner of the room with poor instructions on how to use it. It was a struggle to get the key into the lock on the door and impossible to shut it with any sort of quietness, also if you weren't in your room there is absolutely no where to go or sit, no Lounge etc. Part of the reason I booked this establishment was it had its own car park but there were no reserve spaces for guests. So I ended up parking in the street which was what I didn't want to do.

Some staff were OK, but most young staff were unhelpful and needed customer service training. Nice looking hotel and room, but not the best idea to stay when it is hot, as screaming children and teenagers outside until late playing in the water. Also we were given a fan, but couldn't open then windows for cooler air in the evening due to the many midges. Lasty, make sure you eat enough out, or don't go back too late, as they stop seeing food at 20:30.
