Booked for Husbands birthday present! Did not disappoint! Really nice room. Bottle of bubbles in room as a birthday gift. staff were friendly and helpful, food and service excellent. Set the in a picturesque location yet only appx 15 min scenic walk into Salisbury. Would definitely stay there again!

What an outstanding hotel! A location painted by Constable no less. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the view is idyllic. Open the window and relax to the sound of the weir. We had lunch & breakfast and they were both lovely. The staff are charming and a special mention must go to the wonderful Tracy. A 10 minute walk across the meadow and you are in the centre of Salisbury. We’ll definitely be returning.

A very historic building making a wonderful overnight stay. No complaints about the room itself, had a great view from the window of the river. I was frustrated that the car park was full of people using the restaurant and had to park nearby and carry my bags. Thankfully it rained after I'd checked in. My only other issue was the bathroom, I'm not a fan of having a bath, but the shower head attachment had nowhere to attach it to the wall, meaning you had to hold it while showering Breakfast wasn't included, but I did have it and enjoyed it.

What a little gem of a place. It was unique & we'll never forget walking in the river, which is next to the place. It was special & perfect for exploring Salisbury. Room was clean & breafast was amazing.

Enjoyable stay at this venue.the Room was delightfully decorated spacious and well equipped,there was a Tassimo Coffee machine, better than the usual instant sashes that you normally get. The Breakfast was a bit disappointing average and pricy but ok. Outside the River Avons Mill race ememinates out from underneath the building the town walk way leads a comfortable route to the Rail Station or Town centre,with views toward the Cathedral.

Had a fab weekend in a room with a great view. Lovely hotel if you like history and buildings with a story me and my husband do. The food and drink was good and there is a great walk to Salisbury town stepping back in time.

Super hotel, fantastic location with easy walk into Salisbury along a pretty path. Comfortable, clean room with coffee maker. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal was super, in restaurant with millstream running underneath. Very atmospheric.

Lovely location just a 15 minute easy stroll to Salisbury. Lovely seating areas in front at the waters edge and a great beer garden at the back. Absolutely will return.
