This motel is a safety & health hazard. The room was filthy, used dirty sheets, mattress appears as if it’s covered in urine & chewed up by a dog. The TV did not work, the phone looked even worse. We had to ask for a broom to sweep the room the floor was so dirty. The electrical outlets are a fire hazard & I will be reporting them to the health dept. I have never seen a motel room in such a disgusting condition. I can’t believe I paid $200! We would have left but it is grad weekend & everything in town is booked.

The office staff were not the friendliest, we reported the toilet not working properly from day one and was there 4 nights and they never bothered to fix the toilet. each time you had to take the lid off and mess with it. The other staff that took care of the rooms where professionals and friendly

The place is a dump. Dirty, dusty, ill-maintained, small towels, hard beds, no coffee, filthy pillows. My initial room given me was already occupied by guests. They were surprised when I walked in. Front desk didn’t know why the computer showed available. Room cost over &200/night due to local college graduation weekend. Horrible place. Should not even be available on hotels.com. Avoid at all costs, even if you have to sleep in your car.

Shower didn’t work. Had to unplug and plug in appliances to use. Room smelled like cigarettes when we checked in. Lamp in room worked when it wanted. Drink vending machine didn’t work or didn’t have the products shown. But otherwise it was quiet and quaint…

I saw on Expedia that the property had a 4.8 rating (which I thought was out of 5.0). Later I discovered it was out of 10.0 and one of the worst hotels in Chico. After we checked in, I took a shower. When I opened the towels, I found they were covered in black splotches and had several black hairs stuck to them. All the towels were filthy. I got dressed while soaking wet since there were no clean towels, and we were offered another room. This time only half the towels had black spots, but the floor had not been vacuumed. There were moths and bugs on the floor. Also, the first room had no microwave or refrigerator, but had a coffee maker, but the second room had both a microwave and refrigerator but no coffee pot The sink stopper in the first room was broken so the water didn't drain, and the lights in the ceiling were broken in the second room. The grout around the bathtub was disgustingly black. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable so we were able to sleep, but we hightailed it out of there in the morning. Not a good feeling.
