Cold ac, can be a ghetto place due to the crowd it brings unfortunately but the stay was unbelievable for the price in my opinion. Comfy bed and blankets, a whole seperate room with a couch and TV for the king room! Impressive for price! Big fridge and microwave as well. Will stay again

The manager and his family were very friendly and attentive at check in. I feel bad having to mention that there were problems with the room. First the good stuff: the price was reasonable. Parking was free and I felt safe. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. Now the not so good. The bedside table was on the window side of the bed, where there was no place to plug anything in, so I had to move the table to the other side of the bed in order to plug in the lamp and my cpap machine. Strangely the doorknob for the bathroom was reversed so it would actually be possible for someone to lock themselves in the bathroom, unintentionally. After walking around the room barefoot, I realized the bottoms of my feet were dirty because the floor was dirty. And before I checked out, I was looking forward to a shower. But there was no Hot water! I should have checked that when I checked in! I doubt all the rooms have these problems, but if you're considering staying here, just keep all of this in mind and make sure to check out your room thoroughly.

Surprisingly charming and friendly

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, don’t let the location throw you off. Family run and it shows. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend this hidden gem for travelers. Close to the airport as well. 5 min drive.

I was comfortable here, staff was very kind to me, only problem is there was stuff left from housekeeping in room drawers and also bathtub was dirty but they are remodeling so no worries this time. I also haven't received my deposit which I hope it comes today?!?! there is no reason to not get it. also a microwave would have been handy there's only refrigerators in the room.

The staff was decent...its a renovated property that used to be very run down. The area around the hotel is questionable but i didnt feel unsafe on or around the property itself. Theres a decent bar and grill across the street and the people there were very friendly too. Its cheap and you get what you pay for and i WOULD stay there again.

Nice staff and easy checkin. Room smelled like cigarettes (the strong sort of smell that your brain never gets used to). There was no top sheet and the comforter didn’t seem to have been washed recently. At least the car seemed safe there overnight and it wasn’t too loud despite being on a major street. Had wanted to give them a try because of the good recent reviews; just can’t get past the smoky smell though!

Only stayed because I was too lazy to find another place. The door knob to the bathroom only worked if you turned it in a specific direction and a specific amount or else it wouldn’t open and you would have to try again. They have a European family, whom I assume was staying long term, staying behind the gate and were very noisy and played music all through the night. They even had a grill, a whole dining table set outside and would eat out there like no one’s business haha. Cars pass by all night, and also the train is right there and passes during the night and early morning. A lot of tweakers and homeless passing and I had a couple stand right outside my door screaming at each other. Spend a little extra and don’t stay here like this idiot.

Check in went well and I spoke with someone very nice. Every other person in the complex was very loud up until 1:30 am. Kids were screaming, people were just outside talking and yelling and making a ton of noise. The curtains were too small so we had no privacy. Anyone could just look in. There was no trashcan. The room smelled heavily of air freshener, far too much to the point it was hard to breathe. Long black hairs in the shower.

Staff was very nice and apologized for any issues, but overall the property is in bad shape, with garbage and an old toilet sitting in plain sight. The furnishings in the room were old and worn, and there was no chair, table, or trashcan. Lots of fairly unsavory characters hanging out on or near the property, and just a single deadbolt on the door. Had people working on a car right outside of my room door until 1:30 AM, followed by people noisily chasing their pet around at about 3:00 AM. The room curtains weren’t wide enough to cover the entire window, so there wasn’t much privacy. Toilet had to be flushed 2-3 times to get the bowl to empty. TV only showed “weak or no signal - check the antenna cable connection” and when I checked with the office, I got an apology and an offer to call the cable company (never happened). Had challenges getting the wifi password, and even once I did, it definitely wasn’t “high speed” as advertised.

Manager is AWESOME! His hands are full, though.

First of all, I hate leaving anything less than a 4-5 star review. Second first of all, the staff, manager, and family were absolutely a delight to work with! They went well above and beyond what you would typically find in a smaller motel like this. Very friendly, kind, courteous and SO accommodating! The motel itself is small and quaint, and the rooms are big enough for one or two people. I was in a single bed room, BTW. Let's put it this way: There was enough room to bring in the 4'-ish desk and put it next to the bed, and there was still plenty of room on the other side of the bed! And the TV was HUGE! My room did not have a desk or even a table, which I wasn't aware of since I have never stayed in a room that didn't have a desk or at least a small table. I needed one as a work space while I was there. The manager and his family brought me a desk and office chair from where I can only assume was a personal one of theirs. I could not have been more impressed that they went this far to help and work with me on this! Both mornings I was there, the Wi-Fi/internet wasn't working, and both times the manager had to address the issue. Apparently it's a new provider for them and they are still working out the kinks...? I'm sure this will get resolved, but it was frustrating as I have a lot of computer work to do when I'm on business. The water took (and I timed it the second day) almost 10 minutes to get to a comfortable-enough temperature to take a shower.

The curtains were hella thin so they were easily displaced by the room’s AC etc and the curtains also had some holes which were concerning for privacy. I’d recommend getting a thicker curtains for better privacy.

The rooms are neglected. The people there are nice at the front desk. But the residents are rude and loud. It smells like cigarette smoke and pot everywhere, and it is very sketchy.
