You’re paying mainly for the location as it’s very central and convenient for getting around. I wouldn’t stay there for more than 2 nights max

Best pod hotel we have stayed in! So clean, the bathrooms are beautiful and had underfloor heating! Towels were provided and you could rent more if you wanted. Each pod had its own control over air conditioning, lovely lighting and much more secure than any other pod hotel I’ve stayed in! The staff were all very friendly too!! Bonus area to sit in and work or just chill as well as coffee machine; vending machine with champagne, beers snacks and drinks! We will absolutely be returning!!!

Absolutely brilliant hotel. A hotel with a different set up. Hotel was very clean and very comfortable. The lockers whoch are available for place your belongings in prior to check in are spacious and easy to use. Whilst you have to pay for these they are not overly priced, very secure and easy to use. The vending machines for food, drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are great although a little on the pricey side. The area to eat and drink is very clean and comfortable and they offer a free library for those that wish to read. Coffee machine also available. Would definately book again with location brilliant for central London and then under ground. Soho is walking distance.

Location! Location! Location! If you can adapt to a shared space, this place is an absolute gem. Nestled in the heart of Soho, you’ll be surrounded by incredible restaurants, entertainment, and everything that makes Central London so vibrant. Just a few blocks from the Underground and staffed by some of the sweetest team members you’ll ever meet, this place offers a fantastic experience at a great value. I rented a single pod and slept comfortably throughout my stay. The only thing I would do differently next time is book an upper pod.- I have a bad back. Other than that, what an amazing way to experience Central London! Highly recommended for travelers looking for a convenient, comfortable, and unique stay in one of the city’s most exciting neighborhoods. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Would highly recommend this as a cheap option in London for solo travellers. The shared bathrooms were super nice and the sleeping pod was well appointed and clean.

This was my first time staying in this type of pod hotel and didn’t know what to expect but for a 1 night stay for a work trip it was perfect. Everywhere was super clean and new, I took a hoody as noted a few people said they were cold but on the bottom pod I wasn’t cold at all and was warm and comfort all night. Bathroom areas were all very clean and well maintained and the staff were all super helpful. I had no issues with using the QR pass to get access and thought it was a great idea as it felt safe and secure.

It’s a brand new property so naturally there will be teething issues. The beds are comfy enough, but very tight for space, so I’d avoid travelling here with any big cases if you’re staying in one of the smaller pods. WiFi works well, rooms are well ventilated and air conditioned, and the common areas are great too, though the age verification process for getting yourself a drink is a massive faff and I ended up giving up and having a coffee instead because it kept failing, so would be nice to see this improved. The QR code scanning is a bit inconsistent as well, a few times it took me a good while to actually get the code to scan so I could get in

My first experience in a pod. Slept remarkably well. Barely heard a thing outside. Their check-in system was fragile. Totally relied on Apple or Google Wallet, which didn't work for me. The access system (to get in the place, in your dorm and in your pod) only appears to use cameras and QR codes which took an age to read, and mean you have to take your phone literally everywhere. "Spa" like washroom facilities superficially nice, but the place had only been open a fortnight and already the shower drainage was backing up. Nobody likes standing in a pool of that. Lots of other facilities broken or dysfunctional (hand dryers, soap dispensers etc) - looks like they were not quite ready for launch. Looked to be about ten showers per gender per floor, about 70 pods per floor, four floors. The humans on site seemed friendly enough, but getting hold of a real human through any of their comms channels never happened despite plenty of trying.

I had a great stay at Otherwander and I will absolutely stay here again when I next find myself in London! I loved how comfy the bed was and the facilities were super clean. The following are my minor nitpicks: -The QR scanners across the hotel are quite inconsistent -The cost of renting extra towels felt quite steep to me (£5 a towel) but this may be standard in London? Where I'm from, extra towels are usually free so I wasn't expecting this -The pods could benefit from extra soundproofing. If anyone is in the hallway they can be heard walking and talking from inside the pods. The pod doors need to be shut quite firmly, and I felt very conscious about leaving my pod at certain hours incase I woke people by shutting my door. -The pods could benefit from one extra shelf. The existing shelf and storage pocket (on the left side) get completely full with 1 very small suitcase, 1 pair of shoes and a bottled drink. I understand that this may be to encourage you to use their luggage storage facilities, but I really prefer the privacy of being able to store my belongings with me at all times. -The shower rooms would benefit from a shelf to pop toiletries on for people that have difficulty bending to pick them up, however the hotel does provide free shampoo and shower gel in holders on the wall, so this only applies to personal toiletries -The thermostats in the pods can't be lowered below 19c, I like sleeping cold so this was a bit saddening on the 30c days during my stay

Had a great sleep the facilities are really nice and would definitely stay here next time in in london. The location is great walking distance from central, northern and Elizabeth lines. 2 minutes from shops and restaurants in soho/ tottenham court road. Pods are quiet and comfortable Bathrooms and showers are clean Wish the water pressure waa stronger but not a deal breaker

Cheap place to stay right in Soho. One minute from tube, close also at Tottenham court station. Super clean and spacious showers. It was okay to sleep, so silent, no sounds at night. There is a air conditioning sound only, like sleeping on a cabin in ship. I don’t know would I still sleep again. Maybe like 1-2 nights. I slept at upper pod, and otherwise it was okay but it was hard to get my bag there. And the steps were supersmall. So: modern pods for diginomads.

Great stay for one night after a concert. The nest was clean and comfortable and the bathroom facilities were clean and always available. The nest and communal areas all had air conditioning which was very appreciated during the 35 degree heatwave. The nest was spacious and not claustrophobic at all. Had everything I needed for my stay. It was a bit tricky to open the nests sometimes with it not being super obvious how you operated it with the QR scanning and then when to pull/push it open. My nest was also right next to the dorm entrance so whenever anyone came/went the whole nest would rattle as the door loudly and forcefully slammed shut. But this settled by 1am, but I could imagine it being annoying if you wanted an earlier night. I would stay again for a cheap but comfortable night in central London.

If you want to find somewhere to just sleep it’s fantastic . If you have mobility issues and are prepared to crawl into your room is great . Price is good / new / clean . If you have a weak bladder maybe problematic as it’s a pain crawling out of your nest and going to toilet but I sum it up as a luxury youth hostel with privacy . Tech was an issue at the start but staff sorted . I got my QR code just as I was checking out but staff had already given it to me manually , would I go again yes

Problems with the QR code upon arrival. Overall it took about 45 mins to sort out the problem, which was less than ideal. However, the pod was good - good AC, and quiet. Shared bathrooms and showers were clean.

Mostly good. Staff were super friendly. Nest was clean. Bathrooms could have done with being a little cleaner. A lot of hair on the floor and tissue was there in the same place for the 2 nights I stayed. Take sleep mask as the nest dont go dark and ear plugs for the nosy neighbours and banging doors.

Staff can’t check you in; they fill in a form and then you have to sit and wait for the system to give you a key. Then you can only use it on your phone and it doesn’t work very well.

Nice and clean pods. Only thing I was not keen on was the showergel in the shower. It was difficult to fully remove during showering. Al staff very helpful and friendly. Good vending machines for drinks and snacks.
