Nothing special. Was clean and close to cruise port. They didn’t have our reservation that was booked a year in advance but Expedia took care of that quickly. I would stay again only for convenience to get to the Port.

The lobby was clean, you could smell the food being cooked next door in the hallway in the way to the room. The pillow cases and sheets appeared clean but had hair still in the bed. The shower drain did not drain well so quick showers had to be taken. No time for shaving or it was going to overflow in the bathroom.

The room was very small but very clean. There is an elevator to upstairs floors. Rooms are air conditioned -- but not ours because it failed. There is a larger than average mini-fridge in the room. The entrance is very non descript. this hotel is fine for a night or two while awaiting a cruise or if you are on a budget. Staff was very helpful - thought they could not fix the AC -- but energetically found us fans.

+ : Friendly receptionists. The room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning. A kettle and a small fridge were available. - : The window had frosted glass and I could barely open it, just one window, by a few centimeters. It looked out onto a sort of veranda/storage area and was blocked by a large rug placed right behind it (I was on the ground floor). You shouldn't be in need of fresh air or have claustrophobic tendencies. Furthermore, an electric cord plugged in the room went through the window, which didn't seem very safe. There was no cold water the evening I arrived, but the hot water was restored the next morning.

Not a nice party of Brighton we were awakened by two people having a blazing argument outside our window at 1.30 am. We were so glad we removed the power lead going out of the bedroom window and securing it properly. My wife turned on the shower and it flooded the entire bathroom floor. We were given a very old and dirty broom to push back some water and then resorted to using a towel. The bed was good and sheets clean.

Perfectly fine for an overnight or short stay. No amenities on site, simply a room. Room very comfortable with large smart TV, nice spacious and powerful shower, fridge and excellent air-con to keep room cool during heatwave. Window overlooked the river outside. Bathroom toiletries weren't labelled up. Bedside light had a loose, dodgy wire. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good location within walking distance of town centre, beaches, castle and train station. Paid less than £50 for night so good value for money.

The room was very dirty and dusty, and the shower drain was clogged, making the shower unusable. The room was also very noisy, and we could clearly hear sounds from other rooms. The staff were friendly and polite. Sadly, the cleanliness and maintenance did not meet our expectations, so we would not choose to stay here again.

The staff was not very helpful. I ask the desk clerk about a taxi to the cruise port and was told he would call in the morning for us. When I asked again in the morning I was told I should have arranged a taxi the night before. Disappointing! We just walked to the port. Not helpful.

The room had no towels. When we ask, we received regular towels, not bath towels, Told the bath towels were not available. The AC system dripped water most of the night. Told by the check-in person that we were allowed to park until 930 am in the public parking lot. Turns out it was only till 8 AM. We’ll probably end up with parking ticket.

Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.
