The room wasn't clean as I would expect from a 5* hotel. Missing toilet paper, soap and other facilities that other hotels offer. e.g.. bath gown, flip flops, shower gel. One morning when running the bath the water came out 'yellow/orange' colour. That was odd to see, it cleared out after 10 minutes. Some NOT all members of staff are friendly. WI-FI was intermittent, so if you are planning to have business meetings from the hotel, keep that in mind. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel and some members of staff were awesome at helping. But for a 5 * hotel it does need a lot more. Do not expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

Five Star Hotel near the centre of Algiers (Alger Centre). Ample parking and good security. Spacious common areas and good rooms. Take an ocean facing one, especially. Food on the menu takes some adjustment, but the dishes are authentic. Helpful concierge, great views all round, lovely pool, and though the weather is hot, air conditioned rooms a great plus.

We had a good time here. However the service at this hotel leaves much to be desired. We had a great experience with Ali from the Algerian restaurant who was warm and helpful at every turn. He stands out as an example of what service could be like here. In contrast the bar staff was contemptuous towards guests. I overheard them insulting me in Arabic as they assumed I didn’t understand the language. Overall expect a mixed bag with service. Everything else is 4-star like experience.

El hotel está muy bien, y en verano además la piscina es excelente. El único problema, si se va de turismo, es que está un poco aislado y hace falta pedir taxi para ir al centro, a la casbah, porque aunque está cerca (1 km) está en una pequeña colina y el camino se hace duro (sobre todo al salir), en unos 500 metros a la redonda no hay nada del hotel. Pero las instalaciones en si mismas, está muy bien. Por lo demás, el hotel con habitaciones muy limpias y una terraza en todas las habitaciones que están muy bien,

Dès le début du séjour des couacs, en effet j'aurais apprécié que la dame qui a fait le check-in ne serais-ce que nous indique par ou passer pour nous rendre à la chambre et nous donne quelques explications. Cependant, bravo au personnel des restaurants, très pro. La vétuseté je m'y attendais car il s'agit d'un vieux hôtel mais c'est surtout la saleté de la chambre qui a été le carton rouge. En effet, taches sur le couvre lit, noyau d'olive et plumes de pigeon par terre et pour couroner le tout des taches brunes sur le mur et la porte des wc j'avais du mal à toucher à quoi que ce soit dans la chambre après cet incident. Je ne conseille pas à moins d'un sacré changement et c'est très décevant au vu du prix (sur alger j'ai vu des 2 étoiles plus propres et avec un meilleur accueil)

Mon séjour à El Aurassi Hotel fut une très belle expérience. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est exceptionnel avec une vue absolument magnifique sur la baie d’Alger, surtout au coucher du soleil. L’atmosphère est élégante, calme et empreinte du charme historique de cet établissement emblématique. Les espaces communs sont agréables, la piscine offre un cadre relaxant et le personnel est extrêmement gentil, professionnel et très accueillant. Tout au long du séjour, nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup de chaleur et d’attention, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la localisation idéale qui permet de profiter facilement du centre d’Alger tout en bénéficiant d’un environnement paisible. Un hôtel iconique qui mérite d’être découvert pour son panorama unique, son cachet et l’excellence de son accueil au cœur de la capitale algérienne.
