HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Texas Hill Country Resort was amazing! We traveled from Minnesota and decided we wanted a unique experience with views, tranquility, nature while we toured San Antonio and Kerrville…and it provided all of that. The cabin was very clean, AC worked great, beds were comfortable, etc. We even arrived after dark and the staff took the extra effort to meet us and help us find our cabin. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a great place to stay to get away! The views are beautiful! The cabin is cute! The cabin was clean! There is WiFi but it is seriously limited, which is ok for us. Pet friendly, which was perfect for us! The cons, the beds are rock hard! The pillows are rock hard. None of us slept because it was son uncomfortable, that could just be preference, but for us it’s a big deal! I think the porches need to be repainted and sealed, I know it’s crazy hot in Texas and humid, but they need a touch up, just because of splinters! The pool is great just needs to be kept up! It was really dirty, I know it’s to be somewhat expected but it was pretty bad. The last thing is mowing the high brass, especially at camp sites, of course I could be nitpicking, but we also live out in the Texas hills and I know those are the way to get bit by a snake. Overall it’s really nice, for us the only thing stopping us from going back is the beds, but that could just be preference.

We booked this place as a one-night stop during our trip up through the hill country and we quickly regretted not staying longer! The property is nestled in a really nice, quiet area. They have hiking trails near by (which we love), a little shop on-site and a nice hang-out area. We booked a basic cabin, which had bunk beds and a double bed with only a mini-fridge which was just fine for us. The cabin was really clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a place we are really hoping to get a chance to get back to, once the weather warms up a bit.
