Spotlessly clean and very well kept guest house. Parking not the best, but parking permits readily available for the front of the guest house when there were spaces. Tracey bent over backwards to make our stay great. She even carried our cases up to the 2nd floor.

The personnel at Murray’s House were exceptionally helpful and genuinely interested in ensuring that our stay was as pleasant as possible. They were attentive to our needs and found solutions whenever we required assistance. This charming B&B enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Harrogate, within easy walking distance of the town centre and its main attractions. Despite being centrally located, the property was pleasantly quiet at night. As we were travelling with a rental car, we were also very pleased with the parking arrangements, which worked extremely well and made exploring the surrounding area very convenient. Murray’s House is also ideally situated for visiting some of Yorkshire’s highlights. The beautiful market town of Skipton and the impressive Skipton Castle are only about 22 miles (35 km) away, with a driving time of about 30 min. Leeds Bradford Airport is also conveniently close, located only about 12 miles (20 km) away and typically reachable within approximately 20–30 minutes by car, If you are looking for a clean and comfortable room, an updated bathroom, friendly service, and a convenient base from which to explore both Harrogate and the wider Yorkshire region, Murray’s House is an excellent choice. We greatly appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend Murray’s House to anyone visiting Harrogate and would gladly stay here again in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. Tracey, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful, a perfect host. Breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Excellent location, very close to the centre of town, less than 5 minutes walk. On-street parking can be hit-and-miss - sometimes there are spaces in close proximity, but at busy times it may be difficult to park within 100m. But don't let this put you off! I thoroughly recommend staying here.

I had a fantastic stay. Tracey is a wonderful host, very kind, thoughtful and attentive. The place itself. Is lovely. It is immaculately clean and homely and my room was beautiful. I was very impressed and will return next time I’m in Harrogate. The breakfast is also excellent. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

In fact I have been very impressed with Murray House, I must acknowledge that I had a very nice stay, it was just what I wanted. After work I t was a pleasure to come back to a sparkling clean environment with a great shower, a computer table or a dining facilty and a lovely welcoming host. I also managed to watch my favourite team in Match of the day on telly. I left happy knowing I will be back…

So very pleased I chose Murray House. Received an email confirmation. On arrival morning, received a text from Tracey (very nice touch) checking I will be ok getting to Murray House, parking, etc. On check-in, friendly and welcoming Neil showed me my room, where everything was and how it works. In the evening, when I arrived with my bags, lovely Tracey opened the front door for me and helped with my bags to room. Tracey was so friendly and kind and her time and genuine words made my sad trip bearable. The room was huge! Bright, clean and had everything I need and everything worked perfect. What I liked best? Very clean, lush bed linen and towels, very comfortable bed, controllable heating, very very quiet, room had a 'happy feel'. What did I not like? Nothing ! Highly recommend. If weather, sights, food, people let you down, Murray House will not.
