We needed a rental near the airport on our travel back to the US. Our host was super helpful and actually personally picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. She set the house up like she was hosting her family and we felt that way. Very nice location about 15 minutes to the airport. We also arrived later in the evening and she recommended a nice sea side seafood restaurant that we walked to. Overall a great experience.

Our Airport Cottage stay was impeccable. The space is huge - living room with TV and all of the apps, kitchen with everything you could need (beverages and snacks upon arrival), and a comfortable bedroom. Skyros treated my husband and I like we were family. He drove us to a local fish tavern for dinner and picked us up, and took us to the Athens airport early in the morning (25 euros). He made my travel anxiety vanish! Wish we had more time. Skip the airport hotel and stay here.

This was one of our favorite stays. The hosts are amazing and the spacious apartment operates like a bed-and-breakfast. Do yourself a favor and skip the airport hotel and stay with Chrisa and Spiros. They are wonderful people who are very attentive to their guests.

Top-notch customer service, very responsive. For an additional fee, she shuttled us to and from the airport. The accommodations are very nice with everything you could possibly need, decorated very nice and cozy. Adorable courtyard for outdoor dining, very private and quiet. Owner is very friendly and has put a lot of love and effort into decorating and maintaining the home. Highly recommend staying here.

Property was exactly as described. Owner helped me arrange transportation and greater us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property. We found a goodie basket with a face mask and under eye patches, slippers, shower cap…. There were water bottles and tea in the kitchen. Such a wonderful accommodation. Our family travels a lot. From within the US to numerous places abroad. I can truly say that I have never stayed at a better place. The cottage is comfortable and wonderful and in a great location with absolutely everything you could ever need. All of this is great but what is absolutely the best part is the host. I wish my husband and I had more time to enjoy the secret gem in Athens that is the Airport Cottage House. We stayed there just for the night, before an early morning flight. The reviews do not over-embellish. It is beyond clear that Chrisa takes pride in hosting guests from all over the world. Her attention to the smallest of details makes even a few hours a memorable moment--from all of the added goodies and care package available to us (including a selection of alcoholic beverages in the fridge and eye masks for the weary traveler). We felt like we were home, amongst the fallen mulberries and baby-sized lemons in Chrisa's walled garden. It is truly a shame we had a flight to catch the next day.

The property is in a quiet suburb of Athens within walking distance of the beach and food. We rented a car but didn't need to because the property will do pick up and drop off to the hotel and taxis are a way better way to get into Athens to see the Parthenon. The place is extremely clean. And the host Chrisy goes above and beyond with her hospitality and service. We so appreciated that she had an airport transfer option. And one day it was raining and she drove me to the store and back, free of charge. I’d say the only thing we were a bit surprised by was the age of the home and the lack of walkability of it. Though we did walk into town. Chrisy offered to take us everywhere, but we needed some exercise so we walked in one afternoon. The water is close to the home also. I do think the apartment is more set up for short term stays, so a perfect overnight stop for the airport.

When we had a last minute bump in our travels, we booked the airport cottage for one night. We booked day of and Chrisa could not have been more accommodating. She picked us up from the airport at midnight to drive us to the cottage. The cottage is very spacious, has every amenity you could ask for, and is clean and in a beautiful location. Chrisa had made us homemade food and left drinks out for us as well. She was so sweet and kind and made us feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the shower water gets hot very quickly. For a last minute pick, this was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our honeymoon and I wish we had a few more nights to enjoy everything the cottage has to offer. Chrisa woke up early to drop us off at the airport at 5:00 AM. We cannot thank her enough and we definitely recommend this to anyone who is in Athens or who would like to be close to the airport!

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Krissa’s apartment (Airport Cottage House) was truly fantastic. The location was perfect — just about 15 minutes from the airport and very close to a beautiful local beach, which was ideal for relaxing the day before our flight. The metro stop is conveniently situated just one stop before the airport, making our commute seamless. Krissa was an exceptional host — welcoming, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. She decorated the apartment beautifully, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We found more than the usual essentials, including snacks, coffee, and refrigerator basics, which made our stay even more comfortable. She also kindly took us to a local mini market where we purchased everything needed for a homemade family meal. Her helpfulness extended to providing clear directions for the bus and metro, as well as assisting us with bus tickets. After a day at the beach, she greeted us with refreshing cold watermelon and delicious feta cheese, which was a lovely touch. This apartment offers a superb value for families, especially for those catching an early flight. Instead of booking two expensive hotel rooms and dining out, we enjoyed a cozy, home-like experience with the warmth of a local Greek host right by the beach. Highly recommend for anyone seeking family comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality!

Such a wonderful place to stay for our final night before flying out of Athens. The host lives in a separate portion of the property, so she was there to warmly greet us upon arrival and was available to help with anything we needed during our stay. Everything was spotless, and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of complimentary drinks, water, and snacks. The hospitality made it feel like we were being welcomed into the home of a family member rather than just staying at a rental. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!
