I had an awful stay at a new hotel that didn't live up to expectations. The room was disgusting, with dirty sheets covered in pet hair. I only noticed the pet hair after sitting on the bed in black clothes, which were immediately covered in it. This showed the hotel doesn't clean or change sheets between guests—just remakes the beds. I was also unaware pets were allowed, and it was disturbing to realize no effort had been made to clean the room before my arrival.
I chose this hotel because of its glowing reviews, expecting a clean facility and good service. Unfortunately, the experience was far from that. My flight was delayed, and I had arranged with the hotel to have my food delivered and held for me, but when I arrived at midnight, my food was missing. The receptionist, Wali, was helpful, but no one could explain where the food went. It either got thrown away or eaten, but the hotel staff didn't offer any solution or compensation.
Over the two days, I had to chase them for answers. They eventually confirmed the food had been delivered but didn’t want to address what happened afterward. When I checked out, the manager and receptionist apologized but never reached out to me proactively. Their lack of concern for customer satisfaction and failure to resolve the issue left me feeling like they weren’t invested in retaining customers. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
