Great place to stay near Strasbourg.

Found by chance whilst trying to find somewhere to stay near Strasbourg. So pleased I did, it’s a fantastic hotel/restaurant situated a short drive off the main road. Warmly welcomed and room was simple but clean and very comfortable. Food in restaurant was excellent. It’s also a very short walk from the train station with trains to Strasbourg centre taking around 15 minutes.

An awesome reasonably priced hotel and restaurant. Food was amazing (breakfast and dinner). The head chef even went out of her way to pick up a Schwarzwaelder Schinken for me from a local butcher a couple of towns over. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, a very pleasant experience. A jewel of a little German Lodge in the lovely little hamlet of Kork. The hotel is in an historic old brewery and owned by the same family for a hundred years. Mark the Owner/Chef is a friendly and knowledgeable host who helped us make the best of our two-night stay. I chose this hotel because of its Michelin Guide recommendation, and the restaurant definitely lived up to that designation. Our meal on the first night was fantastic. I had the Caprese salad and the veal medallions with noodles. Firat class!! The rooms are Euro-style with new bathrooms which are spacious. The showers have excellent hot water pressure. There isn't a kettle for hot water for tea, but the staff will provide hot water from the espresso machine upon request. For those on driving tours, the hotel has six free parking spaces which is very helpful. One big advantage of this hotel is that it is next door from the commuter rail istation nto Strasbourg, which is very convenient. I definitely do not recommend driving into Strasbourg as it has restrictions and is, as expected, extremely pedestrian focused and crowded. The train time to Gare du Strasbourg is 20 minutes. In sum, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again at this fine little hotel!

I stayed at Hotel Hirsch mid June when Europe got hit by a heat wave. Upon arrival I was offered an apartment (Hirsch boarding house) which has AC for an extra of 10 Euros per night. The apartment was beautiful and sparkling new and the AC helped me sleep well at night. Breakfast was great and dinner as well. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Definitely a special place and the price for the apartment was very affordable. I would highly recommend this place! It is also an alternative to pricy hotels in Strasbourg. If you have a car, it is definitely worth the 20 min drive.

Incroyable. Première réservation sur hôtel.com et je suis très content de cet hôtel. Très belle décoration mélange entre authentique et moderne. Chambre spacieuse et très propre. Salle de bain avec un vrai sèche cheveux comme on ne trouve plus dans les hôtels. Grande douche avec de la pression (comme on ne trouve plus souvent aussi), personnel très gentil et serviable. Enfin restaurant au rdc très qualitatif (c’était plein c’est bon signe). À coup sûr je reviendrai. Bravo.

Excellent hôtel de charme, typique allemand. Très joli hôtel dans petit village, personnel très aimable, serviable, polyglotte.
