We were there just to sleep and catch plane the next morning. The bed was comfortable. The noise outside was minimal so we slept very well. The room itself was small so I wouldn't want to stay for an extended period of time (same for the lobby - small). I would stay again if I fly through again.

1 night stay on a quick trip through Norfolk. Hotel was clean, and staff was nice and professional. Our room (325) was huge. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t eat breakfast there but did look. All carb-laden and quick stuff…fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins. Overall a good stay and we would return if we were in the area again.

The stay was short but good. Service would have been an excellent if it had not been for the lady working the front desk for morning check out, the young lady who checked us in was very nice and professional but I had 2 encounters with the one lady that was rude the first time was before my initial checkin ;we arrived early due to driving all night so we stopped in to make sure we were at the correct hotel and check our reservation she didn’t let me ask anything she just rudely said you can’t check in now and I proceeded to tell her I just want to confirm my reservation she said check in is 4 come back then but when we came back to check in thankfully there was a nice young lady to check us in and tell us a little about Norfolk since we had never been there so other than that we had a great stay waiting on our cruise

If I could have snuck the mattress out and into my car, I would’ve. It was that comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the young woman who was on the late evening shift. The breakfast is “continental”, but there were still plenty of options. There is a coffee station in the lobby, available 24/7. The room was immaculate, and the shower/tub combo was pristine. We’re already making plans to stay again. The only 2 negatives are that because they aren’t on the main street of town, there aren’t many food options. But, there are plenty one block over. The other thing is that you can’t turn left into the property-NOT THEIR FAULT. You just have to make a u-turn just a few buildings down. And you can’t beat the price!

Ok. But, since they only had one ice machine on the 2nd floor, signs posted would have been nice indicating that. I was on third floor, no machine after walking entire corridor, elevator to first floor, was told ice was on the second floor. Elevator to second floor, got ice, elevator back to third floor. Also, it was raining when I arrived. NO access to front door due to design. Park on sides . Room and beds were nice and comfortable. Would stay again if and when in area.

The room was very clean, with a nice TV and charging stations for phones which was helpful. Those were the pros. The only pros. Cons..the mini fridge barely kept our drinks cool. They were just above room temperature after being in the fridge the entire 2 nights of our stay. The hotel has 3 floors and there is only 1 microwave in the lobby to accommodate the entire hotel. The furniture in the room is setup to accommodate a microwave, they should strongly consider adding them to the rooms. The walls are paper thin. You hear EVERY SINGLE THING happeneing in hallway and the room next to yours. The hallway noise was loud and clear that it woke my fiance from his sleep. Our 1st night at the hotel the fire alarm went off well after midnight and startled us awake. We went downstairs to make sure there was no actual fire. The overnight Front Desk Clerk was borderline rude. We asked if everything was ok she shrugged and said "I don't know". The lights were still flashing all over the hotel. We asked if we should remain stay downstairs until the issue was resolved and she said "that's up to you, I can't tell you what to do. Probably just somebody smoking in a room". Since this a no smoking allowed hotel I would hope not. In any event I would hope that the staff would show a little more concern when a paying guest is concerned about a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. Not a great overall experience. Not sure I would return without improvements.

Can't recommend as of now. It's new and they appear to have opened before working out all the bugs. To the good, the staff was friendly and the room was very clean and modern-looking. The bed was comfortable. However ... The desk clerk was having all kinds of technical issues while checking me in. Long story short, I was charged two incidentals deposits. I had to point that out at checkout. The TV had no cable and we had to try to watch using streaming apps with which we're not familiar. The desk sent a technician up to help us and even he had trouble getting it going. My wife was finally able to get us to ESPN, but it kept kicking us out, one time with a message saying "unauthorized user." No disposable plastic drinking cups in the rooms, so I had to cup my hands to get water for tooth brushing and taking my meds. I know it's an economy hotel but come on. One issue that may be more permanent: Tissue thin sound-proofing between floors. The room above us was occupied and every time someone walked around up there, it sounded like the Calgary Stampede. Our room shook from the noise. Maybe they'll get better but I'd wait a while to give them time to figure things out.
