The New Blanc Central Myeongdong Hotel is quiet and modern. Room was very clean and well decorated. The hotel has a modern atmosphere and a very attentive Staff. The cleanliness is excellent and the breakfast has a good variety. The room was not big as I am used to... I guess this is normal within Asia. However, I easily managed around.

The room is a little bit tight, but not unexpected. It was definitely big enough to be comfortable have enough space for all belongings. It is very clean and modern. The bed and bedding is comfortable. Plenty of water pressure in the shower. Laundry facilities were better than expected. 4 Washers and 4 dryers (standard North American size)...though one dryer was out of service. I noticed other visitors take advantage of a nice shared kitchen. While the location isn't central any tourist sites and it's about a 5-7 minute walk to a couple of subway stations, it's in an area that feels safe. It's 10-15 min walk to busy Myeongdong area streets.

Overall the room is clean and neat. The beds and pillows are comfortable, shower and drainage are excellent. Even better than many 5 stars hotels! The rooftop lounge is nice and spacious. Guests can use anytime for BYO drinks/food. Only comment is the light outside the bathroom is a motion sensor night light and couldn't be switched off. If you stay with more than one person, it will keep on and off when the other person walks to the bathroom while you are in bed.

Brand new hotel in a central and quiet location 20 mins walking to the heart of Myeongdong. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, however the rooms are tiny and there is no room to put your stuff - including your suitcase. We are two people and we were not able to open 1 suitcase because there was no space. There is only one cubby for you to put your clothes in, so you cannot unpack if you wanted to and they could also add a few hangers in the bathroom - there is no where to put your stuff in the bathroom or hang your towels other than on the shower door.

Self check in very quick but slow if it’s your first time. The beds were excellent but the person on the inside bed had to crawl to the bottom of the bed as there was no room between the bed and the wall. The gym has everything and on the 18th floor there is a huge room with tables and sofas for business and pleasure. Snacks and coffee were available.

Self check in was nice. Overall the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Just a bit further from the main Myeongdong area. Which might not be a bad thing for some. I just wished they had paper towels in the communal kitchen to clean up any spills. But I understand that tourists will probably abuse that. Also it would be nice if the dishes in the kitchen had a proper drying rack instead of just stacking the plates. That way the washed dishes can be dry when the next person uses them.

It is actually a few subway/bus stops away from the actual Myeongdong central area, but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, turned out to be very convenient to go to the airport or other places. The only thing I really hated was the extremely poor insulation. I could hear perfectly when upstairs residents were walking around, taking shower or using the toilet. I have stayed in a 100year old building in NYC and the insulation was way better than this.i couldn’t sleep at all for 4 nights…it was like sleeping in a dorm rather than an individual hotel room..

The property was decent although they need to improve the elevators system. The doors close too fast ( we always have to hold the door all the time when dragging your suitcases) and also it can't read the difference of directions either going up or down. It keeps opening for anyone who calls for it. Hopefully they adjust it soon

Just a short one night stay and wanted to stay near myeongdong. Not a lot of things to see/eat right near the hotel. It did have a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. The lobby with the cafe was welcoming and the people in the reception were super friendly. Room was comfortable but on the small side but everything was new. The lounge was large but nothing exciting. Ideal for eating takeout with a group. Can’t beat the price for the location and ideal for younger travelers.

This hotel was such a lovely stay. The bed was extremely plush and comfortable, a great way to sleep after a long day of walking around Seoul. Pillows and comforter was so cushy and soft. Bathroom was great as well. The shower comes as an overhead and can be switched to hand held shower head, both with great water pressure. Plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided. Although toothbrush and paste not provided, it can be purchased at a vending machine in the basement level for a reasonable price. The room might look small but everything is strategically furnished. There is even a mini fridge. The location was not as ideal as I’d hoped, but it is a close walk to 2 different subway station entrance, both less than 10 minutes walk away. So you can get to the busy part of Myeondong just one stop away. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying close by to Myeongdong
