This was my second visit to Kos and I chose this hotel hoping for a new experience. I regret that decision and wish I had returned to the other local five star property. While the hotel’s architecture is striking and the design gives an initial impression of luxury, the reality did not match the expectation.
Although the rooms are finished to a high standard, there were visible defects throughout the property. Service was inconsistent. Some staff were excellent, but repeated unprofessional interactions overshadowed this. A serious issue arose when I was wrongly accused on multiple occasions of not paying a pool bar tab, despite showing clear proof. The situation was poorly handled by staff and management, leaving me feeling embarrassed and frustrated.
The hotel has some redeeming features. The pool area is spacious with direct beach access. The gym is small but useful. The spa staff were polite but the experience lacked the calm and luxury expected, ending abruptly in a public area near guests queueing for towels. Breakfast was similarly underwhelming. Coffee came from a machine and the buffet lacked the quality expected from a five star resort.
What began with promise quickly declined due to poor service, mismanagement and a lack of professionalism. These issues significantly impacted my stay. This hotel does not meet five star standards and my experience was far below what I had hoped. I would not return and do not recommend it. One star.
