The staff was amazing and did as much as they could to make our stay comfortable. That being said, the walls were paper thin and we could hear the TV from the room below us and voices from the room next to us. The rooms could have been cleaner, particularly the walls which had some coffee splashes and pencil scribbles on them.

Looks polished in pictures. The walls are thin and you can hear neighbors talking and TVs on even without screaming or blaring loud sounds. The shower shows a lot of mold and could use a deep clean. The AC unit is obnoxiously loud before starting up every time it runs.

I liked the modern touches in the remodel. Had a very comfortable bed, slept great. Their restaurant was so so. We arrived early and asked for a $15 early arrival fee which we declined and sat out in their nice patio area for about 45 mins when Juan came out and said he would wave the fee.

Lots of great memories staying there 20 years ago with the kids, and evo has done a fantastic job renewing the old Americas Best Value Inn Lake Tahoe-Tahoe City; (2 visits in 2 weeks; had to return it was SO nice.) Very nice, updated rooms, super comfy beds, relaxing room patios with exceptional views, very friendly staff, awesome sauna, pet-friendly for those with furry friends, inviting communal areas, great food at Sierra Surf Club (formerly Blue Agave,) and close to everything! AND, they're just getting started fully developing the property! Looking forward to our next stay!!!

Pros: Front desk staff (Erin and others) friendly, knowledgable and kind Cleanliness of room and property was excellent Great walkable location with excellent restaurant options nearby and beach access Cons: Room was super basic - no counter space in bathroom, no full-length mirror in room, no wardrobe or drawers, no overhead lighting, just a lamp strung up. The room was large and clean but just not enough places to put stuff and tiny bed side stands that barely fit anything. Overall, I would stay here again but prepare for a basic motel style room.

Great location for skiing. 10 minutes from palisades and North Star. Lots of dining and shipping options around. Great location right next to the Dam. Evo is a company that sells skiing merch, this is their first foray into building a hotel to host skiers. The room is designed around this concept. You can purchase stuff off the website and have it be delivered here when you check in.

In many ways a nice place but all a bit spartan; the TV was old, and the remote a known mystery (we checked online). It was not possible to adjust the volume! The coffee maker that was supposed to be there wasn’t and my wife had a hard time getting the room dark. Fridge had glass door which was brightly lit with a blue light. Maybe the curtains were blackout but if they don’t cover the entire window, that doesn’t really matter — it just didn't get dark. We improvised by putting shoes on the curtain to hold the edges in place for darkening. Not a good place if you want to spend the night watching movies or television. Plush bed and super comfortable pillows. Still, hasn’t quite made the upgrade from a motel. Nice staff. Perfect location. Plenty of walkable places to dine and across the street from the lake with public beach access. Parking was adjacent to the room.
