This is a hostel that is really big and does offer convenience in terms of location, kitchen, onsite restaurant and bar, as well as events... With that said, the staff can he easily overwhelmed and you will need to be careful with your belongings, if anything happens, the staff is helpful though.

A fab base just off the royal mile. Stayed during the Fringe with my teenage daughter. Helpful staff at check in. Our dorm was spacious and clean. Beds comfy. Good shower. The shared kitchen was clean and fine to self cater in - a couple of ovens etc... but occasionally lacking in cuttlery. Only real negative- were on the 2nd floor over the pub garden - it was very noisy until about 1am. But didn't really bother us. Alll part of the buzz.They have rooms on higher floors if you want to avoid that. Bar and events were really good.

Bart part was the location which was pretty central and the free luggage storage. How ever there was no outlet in the room or possibility to charge by the bed. At all. Was there for the fringe so was booked and busy all day from 10 to past midnight and then had to spend 1 hour in the lobby charging my devices. Would not book again

Amazing location right by The Royal Mile, Room was basic but clean, large bathroom, very hot shower. Amazing price for city centre and is ideal for a short city stay where you are out and about all day. Would stay again and would recommend.
