Hotel was ideally located for the Gondola. Unfortunately the Gondola was closed for two days during our stay which meant we didn't get to use it. Hotel was getting ready for the ski season so pretty quiet. Room was lovely. View from the balcony looking onto the Rocky Mountains, room had a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and microwave. Hotel was 12km from the centre of Golden, that didn't bother us but may be inconvenient for some people. We had a hire car so it was fine. I would recommend this hotel

The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. we really enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were the check‑in process and the elevator being out of service. There was no front desk staff, and although we received our room codes by email, there was no parking information included. Carrying everything up the stairs wasn’t ideal, but the room itself made up for it.

The setting is spectacular but the service is beyond terrible. We were forced to climb stairs because the elevator was out of service. No pre-warning and one of us with low mobility challenges would have had real troubles if we were on the 3rd or 4th floor. We were on the 2nd. TV wasn't working properly and nobody available to help. Facing the mountains but had 2 different styles of music blarring into our room. Beds were adequate but not great. But location amazing!
